I just got mine, amazing, all these people who are asking for all this handling etc.. remember the price you are paying for this. if you want something slower that handles better buy that instead. this car isnt trying to be something is not, it is quite aware of its strengths and price to value proposition. I have owned several performance cars including an a45amg and Mini Cooper JCW, I would take this over any of them and I also own a Volvo c40 twin motor now as well
i would prefer they added more curves to the interior, make the infotainment screen bigger and the drivers display lass square.Outside theres sharp lines that make it too square as well. The mid spec version is the sweet spot so they didn't need this X power.Just my opinion
A friend of mine has one in the Green (we call it Apple Green in the UK). Lovely looking car and is insane to drive. However, I would say MG have missed a trick here and should produce a properly focused performance version like the Ionic 5N, as it just has too much power at the moment and is a bit of a one-trick pony. It’s pretty easy to find it’s limits other than the mad straight line speed. I’d lovely to see an X Squared Power version, even if it was £10,000 more (20,000 AUSD) properly sorted as a mega-hot hatch.
I had too much fun reviewing this car. Also too much fun frightening the pants of unsuspecting passengers. 🙂 I hope you enjoy this video!
Picking up Saturday, managed to get for £25,250 obviously UK. Can't wait
Nice! If I was in the market for a replacement EV, I'd buy this.
It’s even cheaper now with the factory bonus😊

Your opinion on the XPower vs Used Tesla Performance for same price?
I’ve seen them as low as $42k Drive Away. ❤
I will buy this for $25k in 2025. Can't wait.
Thank you for the Video

Good points. The Essence model is where it's at for sure.

The car is borderline dangerous, not enough tyres and brakes for all that power
It will out brake a Nissan GTR, wee CarWOWs video.
The brakes are 'fake' brembo, but the car will out brake a Nissan GTR, so they work.
Now under 50k
Repeat, dont buy the 2023 or early 2024 models, known issues with vibrations at 100kmh to 115kmh
After Q3/‘24 is ok to purchase?
@@alanwei28 it looks to be the case, a simple facebook and google search will show you how big this has become.
@@alanwei28it will depend on when the vehicle was manufactured. You will get a certificate with the vehicle and it will have a build date.
@@adamrainey5933 I meant after Q3’24 manufactured will be no vibration issue during 100~115kmh?
