Wow!!! Wish I could pull up a stool, do some braids, and finance a couple of cruises 🤔🧐🤨 On last cruise, I made the same purchase, 2 Tshirts from Del Sol for the grandkids. They light up great in the store, but not so much when they wore them… A little pricey too, but I like their products! Manicures for $250, they must be out of this world! Could be cheaper on the cruise ship 🤷🏾♀️ I’ll be on the Carnival pier again in Dec; I was there in 2019.
🗣LISTEN! I'm sure you would do WAY better than what she did to my head. I was like "thank you" but I was thinking, "Lord where are my sisters at"?! She had the nerve to say 'don't tell anyone I only charged you $85'. ALLLL the thoughts ran through my mind! 😆😂 Awwww, I will just miss you. I have CCL for Nov & Jan, but no Carnival cruises for me in December. Hope you have a GREAT time! 😊🚢
I been to this port 7 times and I know number 8 is coming up next year. I have nothing negative to say about this port. I enjoy the bus tour and the walking tour. The food was very good.
Cozumel has been a "three strikes you're out" port for me. I just get my meds and then get back on the ship. Glad others are able to be treated kindly and enjoy themselves, though.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Your videos would lend themselves to asking a question at the end in order to get higher engagement. Example, what's your favorite part of the pier? would you pay $250 for a manicure? if you've ever been to Cozumel, what would you recommend? Well wishes on your journey!
$250 in Mexican Pesos equals $12.48 in US I believe since you were filming he didn’t want to quote you a price. Who would pay $250 dollars when it’s cheaper on ship💐
When I asked 'is that Pesos' he specifically said no. He could have just asked me to turn off the camera to discuss. I think he was expecting to rip me off. idk... Thanks for that perspective. 🚢
@@PovertyToParadiseHe thought you had lots of money and said as much when he said "you have a lot of money what do you care about how much?" I was like, wait WHAT! Then he asked, "what you do for living?" I was THRU! Man, goodbye!!! 😠 😡
Hi & welcome 👋🏽🛳🤗 I'm fine w/ cash or credit. I do not have a recommendation. Whatever you're most comfortable with. Since this is your 1st cruise, just keep in mind you can get on & off the ship as much as you want and it's a very short walk so you can always go back & get your card or more cash if you see something you weren't anticipating and you want to purchase it. 👍🏽☺️ Enjoy!!!
That’s crazy, they built all of that in the last 20 years. I don’t remember it. We got a taxi and went to beach to snorkel when we had the boys with us. I’ve read recently about some gang violence down there. One guy was shoot to death in that area. That might be part of the reason for the dogs and such. We have been there twice and felt safe both times. Jamaica is the port we hated. 😂 we took a tour with the ship, and lots of little crap happened everywhere. We said we would never get off the ship there again.
😆Are you for real? Royal Caribbean and Carnival would have a cow if they found out even one cruiser was put at risk by things being sold in port. That would hurt their business!
@victoriagalat8923 I actually thought the same thing. I took my best friend (33 years) in Feb 2024 to celebrate my BD. She said she was going to stock up on meds. She SWORE by this one pharmaceutical store. The line was 30 people deep ALL from our ship and some from the other cruise ships. They were repeat customers and came mostly for antibiotics, other medications like Ibuprofen 800 milligrams, which require a Rx.
I don't know how you Americans are - but if someones tries to lure me into a store I won't go in on principle. Also if I wander into a store and someone tries to "over help" I will leave. Different cultures I guess.
I'm in a tourist area surrounded by other tourists and the only way into & out of the port is through security and there are officers surrounding the place. Did you see the drug-sniffing dogs at the beginning? Even the tourists have to go through security. Nothing is 100% safe but it is very unlikely for any crime to happen while in the Cozumel port.
Hi, I love your videos. You are inspiring and I love your joy. Enjoy and safe travels.

Dang it looks they're just trying to get you drunk haha. Thanks for the video

I was there on a cruise in 2010 but I wanted more.... The island tour left me wanting more, especially as I was in a wheelchair then.
Good job, Lady.
Thanks. And, that just means you'll have to book MORE cruises! 😂🙌🚢
"Did you just wake up" was too slick 😊

I missed the color changing bag when I was in Cozumel...I will have to go back now and get one😁
You'll have to get through a hundred "come taste the tequila" invites! 😆😂😅😝
@@PovertyToParadise I know, right 😁
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Great video! I love the way you handled that guy at the nail salon! $250 for manicure😮. Get outta here man!
RC charges $40 with a 20%discount if purchase before cruise on the ship 10%for D+

Do you recommend spending cash only while at port? I’m trying to figure out how much money to bring. We’ll be first time cruisers in December

Oh wow. That's too bad. 😔 Hope your next port is more pleasant. 🙏🏽🛳
Take the ferry to Playa del Carmen to get your nails done. Much cheaper!
Ah. Great tip. Next time I will. Thank you. 🚢😊
Ah next time we will take the ferry. We went to an all inclusive so we didn't get to explore.
Do you know if the pharmacies in the port are okay to buy things at do you think it's the real thing and won't kill you for

I was this a carnival cruise?
Hi Margie. Did you watch any of the video? That question was answered in the 1st minute and all throughout the video. 🤗🚢
