    Awesome tutorial. However, I'm a bit confused by the part about parenting objects to bones. You mention it's not possible in Blender, but you can most definitely do this in Pose Mode. After all, there wouldn't be much point in rigging an armature if you can't move anything with it...

      Sorry for the late answer, I am not checking these very often.
      If you give me a timestamp I can check on it again, but I think I was talking about the option to use other objects as bones or using bones as a standalone object without an armature, as this is the "standard" way in other 3D programs like Max in Maya.

      Oh, and by the way: Why do you plan on making a separate addon for i3d import? Wouldnt it be easier to work together with Stjerne to create one package?
