    My boyfriend's mother hired nannies when he was growing up and he was an only child. I plan to hire a nanny that can teach my first language (Spanish) to my children so that they'll grow up bilingual despite my work schedule and my boyfriend's lack of Spanish. The idea that it's abnormal for women to seek help with childcare (whether family or employed) is a very Leave It to Beaver Americana fantasy.

    Hi Valeria, I was a nanny to 3 boys for over a year. I can tell from experience it is no joke, every set of hands were busy at all time. I loved those boys with my whole heart and I do not think they were scarred by one more person loving them and taking care of them. Do not give a sh.t to negative comments. Lots of love.

      Laura Fokti I was a live in nanny for a nine year old whose parents were cops. Even with one kid, some parents have to work so much that you just need another person there. Im the oldest of four, and when my mom had twins her attention was obviously focused on them. I was seven, and i understood and even helped my mom out, however my other brother was just 4. I cannot stress how important it is to give tie to ALL the children. I think it is good that you have a nanny and got to spend time with your two other children. Like Valeria said, it was just changing diapers. And her two other children will appreciate it so much that both parents are making time for them too. lots of love to Valeria 💕

    Positive/negative reinforcement and pos/neg punishment are all so important. If you haven’t already, I recommend trying some of those different styles of discipline with Jake and see what works best with him! He may be acting out because he wants more attention or it may just be an age thing.
    Also, you’re a working mom with 3 little ones. I think it is really admirable the way you keep a balance of work and family. I think it is completely ok that the nanny helps out when both parents are there. It gives you guys a chance to enjoy each other’s company and the boys’. Glad you can get a little time for yourself here and there, too. 😉 Keep doing you girl!

    My mother had some of the same issues, she had three children all within the same year and a half time period. And she had issues with discipline with all of us. What she did, which I thought was neat was working around it, she had time during the week that was just for one of us (the other two were with a grandparent or a sitter ) where we did something fun, and it was dedicated, with both parents present. She did that with all three of us. She said it helped.

      Gwendolyn Snow Love that! One on one quality time is so important for kids. It’s a time for parents to really praise their child for what they have been doing well. • @olgreg94

      Gwendolyn Snow i feel like no matter what age difference there are struggles. mine are about 5 years apart and they still fight like cats and dogs and envy one another. its pretty typical sybling rivalary. i think valerie does have more oppurtunitys then most moms because they are so finacially well off and i personally dont know anyone who has a nanny. im sure she still has struggles as does everyone but she is getting more help and alot more self care then the moms i know.

    What is wrong with having a nanny? My brothers and I grew up with nannies while my mom had to work and provide for the family. If she did not go back to work when we were just born, no one would have come knock on our door with food, formula and diapers. It's part of life, the is NOTHING WRONG with it. I grew up dirt poor and now that I am in my late 30's I have Chanel bags coming out of my behind but I don't walk around telling people "The problem is you don't have money to get one" Maybe look into yourself a bit more instead of pointing the finger at others for not measuring up to your lifestyle?

      @linhduong0809 6 років тому +11

      @@rosebush2880 I didn't say in such a way. It is your interpretation. People who commented hate to Valeria might have enough to hire a nanny but they make it sounds like one is a less of a good parent if they hire one. What I meant about nanny is if we have money to hire. Not specifically to the person who wrote hate. And if we do have then we should, it would be helpful. I can do that because I live in another country, the cost and everything is different. I don't have a single Chanel handbag. So good for you to have good things in life.

    Pryvet Valeria! You inspire me in the way you balance your work with your family life and talk to us about the difficulties to that particularly. It's insightful to me as a teen mom to be. I'll be going to have to balance motherhood and going to uni. When you talk about certain takes you have on pregnancy and parenthood, you make me more confident. Sometimes the criticism can take up more of your mental energy than you'd like to, but remember there are viewers like me who look at your content as insightful and inspiring. I don't have my first child just yet but I've already learned that parenting comes with a lot of (sometimes unnecessary) critique. I admire how soberly you react to that!

    I like the fact you are so honest about your lifestyle choices and make no apologies. Many vloggers don't allow their audience to see half of the support they have at home and they sneak adverts into their videos a LOT and it's never clear if they are promoting products, being sponsored or have been given them. I appreciate that you are so honest and that's why I enjoy your videos. It's likely that many people can't relate to your lifestyle, the amount of work that goes into being an influencer and going back to work so early. If I was in your position I'd do exactly the same. I will be working again pretty quickly after my second baby is born as I run my own business and I am lucky I can work around my baby but having help makes a huge difference. I wish more vloggers were as honest.

      It's not about a country. Her mum is from Russia and people there (and other slavic countries) are very family oriented and theimy are always there to help. No just parents and siblings, cousins also help each other very much. We are pretty close. Evan if people move in West Europe some if them after some time come back because they miss their family.

    Valeria I don't know if you realize just how big of a role model you are and how you set such a good example of being a good human towards others. You really really understand the value of communication and when people write judgemental comments about your life choices you are just up front and honest about why you have made those choices. You don't scream, you don't hate or turn the other way around and say that they're all idiots because you understand that will do them nothing. It's the same with all things in life. You can't force someone to say they're sorry, it's always up to them wether they want to or not but we can always communicate our emotions and explain why. LOVE YOU VALERIA! you are the best ❤️️
