No one will read this comment but the Music in PGR was ahead of its time. We're talking the early 2000's where America had a fascination with Japan. another game that come to mind is Jet Set Radio & JSRF. If you check the full soundtrack for PGR you'll find tracks from underground Japanese artists that were so obscure you can't even find another song by some of them nowadays. But they did leave their 1 song legacy on this game. Only 17 years later and this racing simulator is all the proof that's left of their existence. It's pretty cool and a little sad at the same time.
I think its just that this game was extremely hard haha, even me (an experienced racing game player) had a hard time getting gold on most of the challenges, the PGR series is among one of the hardest racing games out there
2006 when i last played it as for the menu music i still love it idk if its some type of heavy bass drum n bass (when i play it loud) but who cares its rocks
the game that introduced me to the skyline gtr. the car wasnt even that great but the fact that it was sandwiched between two ferrarris peaked my interest. my taste in cars + obsession with certain ones wouldnt be a thing if not for this gem.
I last played this game about 10+ years ago. I unfortunately lost the disc. 10 years later I finally softmod my Xbox to play it (I bought the disc and it hasn't arrived yet, so I have a backup copy on my Xbox's SSD in the meantime). Was it worth it? YES.
Project Gotham Racing was so good!Especially PGR 2!Once I was addicted to Gran Turismo 2.But this game is more realistic and far better. Many challenges and races and the cities are very accurate. These kudos points are great inspiration to drive well
I was poor when I played this game as a five year old. I didn’t know we were poor. I’m now 24 listening to this soundtrack too poor to afford an original Xbox and this game. At least I know now. I got goals bitches.
18 years And Finally It is on you tube and 3 years ago it was uploaded WTF It took to long I've always wanted this song burned on a CD to play in my compact disc player or later on a Ipod shuffle.

The first and one of the only Xbox games that I have ever played.
Is there a version of this that doesn't cause earthquakes when played?
This game inspired me to save my lunch money for an entire year so I could by a car to start street racing back in the 6th grade.
