If Sorna becomes a map I feel it would be a missed opportunity for a ‘natural Aviary’ that is just a huge aviary just like the films one that can’t be edited past it’s film accuracy ( A play on the natural Lagoon from the Malta map )

@@screwjustin999 I think everyone would be happy enough with the large rock towers and possible nest decoration inside it.
The rock towers from evolution 1 returning would be great but the rock nest that appeared in JP3 would be an amazing addition especially as perch points.

Honestly, at the moment I don't think we need a story expansion. Chaos Theory and JW4 are still a bit off and there's not really anything to do with Mantah Corp since we got all of the species associated with it. Better to save a story expansion for later.
However, what I would REALLY like is a huge DLC that adds a bunch of decorations, attractions, cosmetics, and other things.
-all of the maps from the first game
-all of the building designs from the first game
-the big tree and rocks from the first game
-the Pteratops Lodge for the Aviary
-the Camp Cretaceous Treehouse
-the Hot Air Balloon Ride
-the Hidden Adventure Roller Coaster
-the Cretaceous Cruise ride
-herbivore feeding stations for guests
-kelp and much larger decoration pieces for lagoons
-rock spires and arches of various sizes that can be used on land and in lagoons
-walking animations and social animations for pterosaurs
-more behaviors like climbing rocks, scratching on trees and rocks, needing dust patches and mud wallows, etc
You could always pull some dinosaurs from the novels too, like you did with the Carnotaurus camouflage. For example, Hypsilophodon, Mussaurus and Ornitholestes were all in the Lost World novel while Meganeura and Nanosaurus _(formerly Othnelia)_ were in the first novel, with the latter also briefly being mentioned again in the Lost World book.
I would love a themed DLC with all these items. But taking into account the date and the latest updates seen in the source code, the next update should be related to Chaos Theory.

What else would I add?
More interactions between different species (like between velo and indominus). Currently, the only interaction is combat.
Interactions between visitors and dinosaurs, e.g. guests feeding sauropods, etc.
@@stendec6649 I don’t expect all of these to make into JWE2 but if JWE3 where to happen well wouldn’t some of these be good ideas for the third installment?
@@Markzilla_99 well sure but....do we really want another game? as much as I love jwe2 my biggest problem is that its mere existence made my purchase of the first game seem obsolete. might as well just refund it since I'm never playing it again. I really would *hate* that to happen to jwe2 too

4:40 if their adding THAT para it better be able to fight back that para is utterly massive and could be a massive threat to stuff it’s size
Id love a Buck rex variant, too, just give him the brow ridges, the throat pouch and make his model like 20%beefier
for the map you should be able to go to different corners and then being able to see dinos from 1997 and 2001 depending on locations
Microceratus in Dominion appeared in Malta but it also was on the recording which was on Isla Sorna, breeding animals for the Park on Nublar.
So it very well could be added, maybe with another new animal, and the rest are variants like the JP/TLW raptors, the JP3 Raptors, The 93 Trike, and the 01 Anky. Or skins like Little Eatie (was on Isla Sorna)
Add some attractions and some new maps and it’s a pretty solid send off.
I just clicked the video. But I would love to see the vehicles from the Lost world. Mostly the mobile command center. Because the game trail scene from the second movie is my favorite, I would also like a mechanic that would have herbivores just automatically run through a game Loop setup.
Consoles need cliffs and deep lakes for long neck dinosaurs, swimmers.
The underground burrows could have observation windows in the style of the remote viewing galleries, if they wanted a more guest-friendly, although admittedly artificial, shelter option.
Small off-topic here. I finally understood what bothered me for years, since release of first Evolution in comparison to Operation Genesis. Just want to share with you guys.
Turns out, it's quite simple really: they've somehow moved, so to speak "focus" from park visitors to animals in terms of size and, as outcome, thrill sensation. I'll try to explain. In JPOG you somehow felt that animals are big, chunky, dangerous putting you in the same perspective where "Rachel" is. In Evolution, animals feel like they are the main focus actor now, hence you associate yourself with them: they do not feel so heavy and "ground-shaking". Just remember the feel of weight and size when you released Tyrannosaurus or Spinosaurus. It's, IMO, completely gone from Evolution games.
The most simple analogy would be - you as a player felt like a flea in JPOG along with your visitors in comparison to "dogs" (dinosaurs). In Evolution, you feel more like a "dog" surrounded by flea-like visitors or at least like a cat, somewhere in the middle.

I hope it’s a story dlc that improves flying and marine reptiles before they kill it.
I have posted pretty much everything you have mentioned in this video on the forum a very long time ago. And I pretty much mean everything. Even overgrown fences and building variants.
Abandoned Facility is all I want for this game!!

Also I hope we get a straight up Hybrid Park DLC, a straight up Flyer Park DLC, a Straight up Paleozoic Park DLC, a Straifht up Aquatic Park DLC, and a Straight up Cenozoic Park DLC, cause we only have enough to make full Dinosaur parks, we don't really have enough for a Paleozoic Park, or enough for a Hybrid Park, or even enough for a Prehistoric Sea World, as we have 7 Hybrids, 3 Paleozoic Creatures, 13 Aquatics, 11 Flyers, half a dozen Dinosaurs, and no Cenozoic Creatures
I think a Sorna DLC would be perfect to add the rest of the missing canonical/novel-inspired species

An extra mist weather setting to toggle on and off for maps that make sense with it would really be great. They might want to keep biosyn valley unique like that though…
Tbh there should be a zoo/dinosaur park game where you actually have a character you play and you can go in first person for actual work. Kinda like how in zoo tycoon you could go in first person and interact with the world, but more. You go into third person for building, but all the actual goings on are done in first person, kinda like the zoochosis trailers. If there was a campaign, I think a great thing to do would be to turn it into a telltale sort of thing, where your choices actually have an impact. When you were talking about the tunnels in the previous video, I just imagined what if you had to make the choice. You go, or you have to pick one of the NPCs that helps you out at this park.
Tall grass and trail cams would be SO good, I'd love them so much~

I completely agree Bestinslot with everything you said for what the decorations could be, for dinosaurs part of the dlc I would love to see Ankylosaurus get a variant of the JP3 skin while also having the JP3 Velociraptor and a JP Lost World, for new attractions I agree with you for the hide hive and the boat tour, I would also like them to add a Pteranodon cage like in JP3, I agree with what you said on Mechanisim for most part however I do think that it would be great to have a deepen water brush tool and I think it would be amazing if we could have a kelp brush for lagoons, I would personally want new swimming animations and 100% agree with you on having a damage tool that would add overgrown planets, I also agree with having car decorations and having can decorations especially if they had the broken tour vehicle that Debbie’s nedry died in and the tree tour vehicle and the Lost world ARV, everything else I agree with

I loved for this dlc to update the model of Corythosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Spinosaurus and Ceratosaurus
A river tour would be amazing, it's something that could really benefit the game. And personally I would love to see a "deep water" brush that acts like a barrier for the dinosaurs, just as the current water brush acts as a barrier for the tiny dinosaurs. I'm not sure if we'll get these, but it also doesn't seem impossible, either. And yes, the other big thing for me would be the tropical redwood forest. A brush with big towering redwoods and loads of ferns. It really is such a unique environment, and it's such a shame that we don't have it in JWE2
Why not add Mussaurus and Ornitholestes into this? Since they appeared in The Lost World novel

I had ideas for a "by the books" dinosaur-character-cosmetic dlc that would lean into new cosmetics for dinosaurs to make them look more like their descriptions in the novels. Similar to the Camp Cretaceous DLC. And seeing how this hypothetical Expansion is taking some notes from the novels...

it should be like a multi-biome island as there was also a savannah and plain biome aswell as the swamp
Another thing I would add is placeable broken fences as it’s a pain when you try to get your dinosaur to break out but it refuses to no matter what or it breaks the fence you didn’t want it to break but refused to break the one you want it to.
God I need a new Sorna map, one either a lost world style map with the redwood forests or a mix of the tropical and temperate zones.

They can use a New pathway for the river ride. It doesn't have to be put on the river from the terrain brush.

Bonus feature with the shelters feathered dinosaurs will go into the shelters when it's raining (Deinonychus is an exception) and All dinosaurs go into the shelters during storm

Agree with pretty much all of this, I'd love for a sorna redwoods map with the mist like the biosyn map & whilst we're at it with the novel carno how about adding the novel rex & raptor skins too or if they really wanted to go all out and bring something totally new the deinosuchus from the arcade game, I'm sure with some tweaking the nothosaurus rig could be used for crocs

Cool that sounds like a great DLC but think I would like to add a 2001/Asset 87 Spinosaurus skin, a 2001 Corythosaurus skin, a 2001 Ceratosaurus skin, a 2001 Male Triceratops skin, a 2001 female Brachiosaurus skin, a 1997 Pachycephalosaurus, (maybe) a Novel Maiasaura and a 1997 Gallimimus skin that would be totally awesome don't you think please?

I would rather have Sorna be half-and-half, redwood and tropical with a thin path, connecting them, kind of like the movie cannon. Plus we do not have any map like that in evolution one or two.

A more movie accurate version of the Spinosaurus and appropriate sizing would be great given we've been wanting this for awhile.
I think everything in the video is a good idea but would probably be better in a jurassic world evolution 3 if we ever get one, Also there is ornathalesties and mosaurus who is mentioned in the novel of the lost world.
As cool as this idea is, for me the game has enough nostalgia already. I'd much rather one last leap forwards. Thus, my dream DLC would be a Cenozoic expansion

We already have invisible fences. I don’t see the harm after adding something like that in giving us a deep water paintbrush that dinosaurs cannot cross.
Although then it turns into the question of, do we add medium and deep water brushes? If we had different depths, should certain dinosaurs be able to interact with it? And then it branches into a bunch of new things needed to code and animate beyond the original reason for adding it. I could see things like that turning into a can of worms sometimes.
I think we need a map pack of real places where fossils have been found (hells creek, bissekty formation, etc..) but realisticly for them, a Jurassic predator pack including torvosaurus, saurophaganax, archeopteryx
