I am from South Andhra , and don't know Hindi except for a few snatches. Yet here I am ,listening to this song again and again. Such is its appeal even after 70 years of Hindi Film music since then. One can only guess what it was like when the movie was released in 1951 !

Lataji's tender voice and her Aa Ha.... before every antara gave altogether different dimension to the song, something that is indescribable in words! Perhaps music has its own language, which is far different than the human languages! Music speaks without uttering a word and binds hearts without a thread! Nalini looked young and pretty!
