HIKE TO BATAD, IFUGAO PROVINCE, PHILIPPINES

What a great day it was! A beautiful hike into the Ifugao mountain village of Batad with ancient rice terraces reaching up the mountains to the clouds. The works of several thousand years still being farmed today. I will never look at rice in quite the same way again.
