Dr. James Mault is a surgeon and inventor who has founded multiple medical device companies and serves on the board of several corporate boards as the chief medical officer. His latest venture is BioIntelliSense, a company making tiny wearable health monitoring devices that, combined with AI, allow doctors to monitor patients' progress at home in real-time. This both cuts down on time spent in the hospital but also increases the amount of data doctors have to diagnose and treat patients. He joins me today to talk about how this technology and others are ushering in an age of actual health care and not the sick care we have now.
Find more about BioIntelliSense at their website: www.biointellisense.com

Me: "Oh cool he has rockets in the background. I think the one on the right is a Saturn?"
19:28 Joe: "You got a Redstone, Atlas, Titan, Saturn 1b, Saturn V, and SLS"

    I have a new idea.
A pee cup that is connected to Bluetooth, so your doctor can send the pee cup to you and you just pee in the cup, then throw it out.
The cup sends all the data to the doctor.

Good stuff. I have heard about this cheap medical monitoring technology and really need to look closer and start my own biomedical data collection for me and my family, sounds invaluable. One day I expect we will wonder how we EVer did medicine before such capabilities.

This Mr. Dr invented stuff without an engineering degree.
He is proof, you just need to hire the right people to build your invention you have no idea how to build yourself.

    noun: barb
Middle English (denoting a piece of linen worn over or under the chin by nuns): from Old French , from Latin ‘beard’.

anyone remember idiocracy? the health screening where healthcare workers don't need to know anything anymore... "this one goes in your mouth. this one goes in your butt. wait, no other way around"
the health devices and data tracking are also reminiscent of the scifi TV show called continuum.
