- There have been problems with the Tangle Patterns website over the last few days, so I found a new pattern on Instagram instead. The pattern is Kalimera and it’s by Patricia Aragon, CZT. If you have an Instagram account, you’ll find her under the name @myzenarts.czt
This pattern looks complicated, but it’s really not. I followed Patricia’s step out that I found on Instagram, and it turned out to be fun and easy. Adding some color helps, but it’s not required. I colored the first one that I drew (which is rare for me), but for the video I kept it in black and white, with shading from the graphite pencil. I did this on a 5” square piece of paper because I don’t have any white Zendalas, and I’m trying to use the supplies that I have on hand. You can use any paper (and pen) that you’d like to!
Supplies that I used in this video:
5 inches square white mixed media paper
Micron PN pen (black)
Gelly Roll 10 pen (white)
Graphite pencil
Blending stump

This was so fun. I love the results except I need to figure out how to get more even flowers. But I love it anyway. You are an excellent instructor. I like how you show us the example, how you show each line you draw. And also you do not draw too fast.

there's 2 big issues with that site. i either get a malware warning and i can't get in, or i get a site unavailable. it's been 3 weeks. wish i could get on it, but glad it isn't "just me"
