      Thank you - we enjoy doing them. We will back at Runaway in Summerfield, Florida in February to do a few more videos, as well as attend the 3rd Annual Runaway Homecoming Rally. Right now I am doing a very few product reviews that I will post in the next week.

      We still have it, but now are doing a van conversion on a 2018 Ford Transit 250 medium roof.

    Hi Charles, I love your Runaway videos and have watched them all. So many great ideas! Had a question about the ARB awning- How did you decide to go with the 2000 instead of the 2500? Thanks!

      We found it was unwieldy to deal with and we really did not need one that big. Now we have just the 2000mm with a couple of side panels if we want to put them up for wind or sun blocking and also a screen room. Some do not complain about the bulk of it, but we determined that bigger was not better . . . for us. Thanks for watching. More to come.

    Hi Charles, thank you for posting so many helpful and informative videos! My husband and I want to buy the 2020 Rangerunner (we need the 6x8 because we have a son in junior high who's only getting bigger by the day haha) anyway, I wanted to see if you had met anyone that pulled the rangerunner with a 1000lb towing capacity? I have a toyota camry. We would be purchasing the lighter 2020 model and without ac (which would help lighten it a tiny bit) but I was curious if you had any insight?! Thanks so much!

      You had to be careful wirth the extra gear you load in the car and camper. I am no expert though. I would highly suggest you call Daniel at sales (352-509-1260) and he really can answer that question better. I hope it works for you - we love our Runaway!

    Charles, What is your impression of the new fiberglass structure? Are the walls ceiling and floor this new material? How does the Range Runner tow? Is the Air conditioner mount solid with the new structure material?

    • @charlesmoman
      @charlesmoman  4 роки тому +1

      We really like the new fiberglass construction. It looks just like the old model. Everything is made of the fiberglass and PVC composite material. The interior is lighter because it is not the wood. My wife really likes how light it is. Towing is just like the Runaway before, it is just lighter.

      The AC unit is totally solid.

    Hi! I love your videos; very informative! I've learned a lot from them. I went to the Runaway dealer in Florida to check out the new 2020 RangeRunner. What is holding me back is that I wish it had a galley kitchen. I'd like to ask you what you think of my idea. If I get the camper with the back door, I can ask Runaway to put two shelves in the back and a wall to separate the sleeping area from the galley, that way I can create my own galley kitchen. What do you think about my idea? Is it possible to do this? TIA

      Fran Ve I have seen people do just that. If you can join one of the Facebook owner pages, you could probably find a couple of people that have built that into the Runaway. And thanks for watching. Pretty soon I’m gonna be launching a series when I do a van conversion of my Ford Transit. We will use our Runaway as the bedroom and then have everything else in the Transit. If you subscribe and click the notifications bell, you would see when I launch that series of videos.

    I got confused... Regarding your comment about insulation and the new material - you said you noticed a difference, but is that about more insulated or less it feels, or were you referring to having more or less condensation?

    • @charlesmoman
      @charlesmoman  4 роки тому +1

      There was less condensation for sure.

    is the rangerunner fitting into a single door standard garage?

    • @charlesmoman
      @charlesmoman  2 роки тому

      It is 6 feet wide, plus the fenders.

    • @charlesmoman
      @charlesmoman  2 роки тому

      We fit our 4x8 on line side of our garage with no issues, and later did the same with the 6x8 RR. Most average garage doors are 8 feet wide, so it should not be a problem. We actually had room in our garage workshop area that we stored our Runaway during the winter. We sold our Runaway and now have a Ford Transit 250 camper van we built ourselves - that does NOT fit into our garage, so I may build a picnic pavilion that can serve as a van port.
