I would use my homemade chili where I could control the salt,low fat heated cheese,and lower sodium or Turkey hot dogs,those smokies have alot of salt.I have high blood pressure and try to watch my sodium intake.
Thanks for the recipe ideal. I am allergic to MSG( monasodum gulamate) . Does the cheese spread you put on the recipe have MSG? I will have to substitute cut beef hot dog that do not have MSG. Also wolf chili. Hormel has MSG. I think l would try frito corn chips instead of the biscuits.
You can get the no salt added or low salt, chili mix. You can also use a healthier cheese to replace the cheese wiz, too. Will try the healthier version of this. Thanks
I make something similar. But add diced onions n serano peppers along with tortilla chips. But my preference in chili is with beans oh and spanish rice!! 😊😊😊❤

You can use cheese whiz for sausage balls I like jalapeno cheddar dip making my sausage balls instead of cheddar then they aren't as greasy 😊😊yummy do what makes you happy!!!!!

Kristen,if I remember correctly,I think Chez Whiz and Cheese in the can came out in the later part of the 1970s.If it was the 80s it was 1980 or so.
