I was thinking the same exact thing. Yes, the other comedians whipped him pretty good. But the ones he was paying should have took that situation smooth out. A message to him and anyone else with that notion if you ain't working the stage, keep your ass off the stage.

Staged doesn't mean it came from Chapelle. Staged could mean "somebody" was checking Dave's temperature. Checking the level of security and the fact that there's no real punishment for the attacker could mean that it was staged. Or a better word, "planned". People who are trained in security wouldn't simply blamed Chapelle for a "staged" attack.

I love when Rashon comes on our screen, he seems like a really good guy an a very wise man. I completely agree with him. The situation does not add up. I've been to small comedy venues I been to multiple concerts and not once have I been able to get through security without having me and my things checked or having the wand scan me. Heck I got a fork confiscated by security once going to jury duty. Any security company worth the money paid to them would have easily been able to stop this. This is the same company that did "security" for AstroWorld Travis Scott's concert. And we saw how that turned out👀

My head of Security ALWAYS did walk-throughs of the venue and identified exits and security threats. The security details for both Chapelle and Rock as well a the venue security need to be fired!

They should have caught him but because he ran across the stage to Dave, but the problem is the security was watching the show also instead of watching Dave's back. Security shouldn't even be laughing just keeping as eye out worst after previous situations. He should have never gotten so far and Rashon was total correct security was lacking.

This security company had multiple chances to stop this. At the door everyone should have been searched. Matter of fact most places have a bag size limit so how he got in with that thing shocks me. I can't even get into my town's football stadium with a bag unless it's clear. Security at the venue should have sent someone to put eyes on him walking around with such a large backpack. If he was in the front section they would have had someone at the entrance checking tickets to make sure he was supposed to be there. Then crazy enough another comedian Tehran Von Ghasri came out yesterday stating he noticed Lee jumping over a barrier while in VIP and alerted the nearest security guard who does nothing. There also should have been at least 2 people each on either sides of the stairs leading up to the stage to prevent anyone from coming up. All of this is common sense and I've never worked in security.

I saw Dave live a few months ago and he had a couple of big security guards around him the whole show. He even made them part of the act. I remember one of them was a former football player if I recall and he even sang some Luther. The question is how did they and the Hollywood Bowl security drop the ball? The decision to not file charges has nothing to with another fool rushing the stage on other comics, dude got his azz whooped and Dave had fun with him too ,so Dave felt that was his punishment/charge. Dave just being "Nice 💪🏾
