Honestly, whenever you’re in a lobby and someone has a specific perk, you can’t put on that perk. I think that would stop bullying squads and 4 mans from doing shit like this. And maybe you can only equip one perk or item that gives endurance.

Winning against this with Wesker is super impressive brother, also it’s clear they stream sniped you as they removed the 2 Background Players from their builds due to the fact you were playing Wesker and they would most likely get grabbed anyway meaning no Pallet Saves, they don’t even try to hide the fact that they’re sniping you, and they still lost!

Imo the game has never been more predictable and repetitive than it is today, BHVR need to make changes to matchmaking ASAP.
Sbmm is broken af, me and my buddy play together and we get the worst teammates on earth, like 0 teamplay whatsoever. Not even decent loopers, we need the og macthmaking back.

The problem is people still don't understand this is a time trial game, not a horror game and that's why people play hide and seek. Your objective is to finish gens ASAP before pallets disappear. Survivors that don't understand this will never be good at the game.

@@xabrias yeah it's so weird lately. My friend has 1.8k hours and I 1.6k and we were playing with teammates and against killers that seemed to recently have started playing dbd but when we play killer, we get god like survivors it's so messed up
I've played dbd to the point i play a single match, get a 3 or 4k and just leave and don't play again till next week because i get bored, im glad they got rid of de-pibbing but god... people still take the game too seriously...

This i play maybe one match a week, it's always super stressful then didn't play again for a week or like recently haven't played in several weeks I'll do the tome then quit again.
Since the depipping was removed so much more people just give up. But at least it helps new players

Nah, just remove the obviously busted items like styptics and insta heals and make the anti tunnel perks deactivate on protection hit and when someone else is hooked and it'll be a lot more bearable
I think a better choice will be bring back the swf mode, being the only one that you can invited your friends, and there make balances exclusive for that, like you randomly can get 4 survivors with brand new parts, but on the swf only 1 or 2 can have one in the match

@Lilbroomstik you're either a troll or you have no reading comprehension. Deactivating on protection hit would only stop survivors from using them to interfere while I'm chasing somebody else, like in this video when the survivors with OTR would purposefully get in the way and take hits. The perks would still work as intended against actual tunneling.

My only thing against this game recently, honestly, for some time now, is the SBMM.
I'm a casual player who just play for fun.
When i play survivor my teammates is so much worse than bots and the killer is the most tryhard possible.
When i play killer, the survivors act like they are in the finals of a tournament.
I don't get this shitty matchmaking.
This make me rage in this game and not have fun 85% of the time.

Mmr has been a problem since it was brought into dbd. No one ever wanted mmr.
Don't listen to mmr glazers. It was a party game and always has been. 4 people run from a big scary killer. Even the anniversary dev comments prove their garbo mindset about only caring for how many ips they have.
it's tough right now, I'm not even gonna lie, especially when I think im doing good, 3 hooks, no gens done yet and suddenly 3 gens pop and everyone has 3 chase perks and nothing for gens. I try to stay positive, but it can be frustrating sometimes

I play both sides and it’s rough lol as survivor I get potatoes or ppl who dc or kill themselves instantly when things don’t go the way they want it cucking the team. Then when I wanna play killer I get the whole swat team with chemical traps etc etc I’m like 😢

I switched to survivor a few weeks back and I have so much more fun using random builds on survivor than I did using a meta killer build.
Crazy how the kate has 2 styptics in her medkit, very unfair.
Killers have more wall hack perks than ever before and you're crying about a one-use healing addon. My god killer mains are the greediest gamers in the world.

Still proposing a pair of "power perk" slots which prevent survivors taking the strongest perks 4x and having to use mid/weak perks instead.
Hell, loadouts would be cool. IE:
2 strong perks, 2 weak perks
1 strong, 2 medium, 1 weak perk
4 medium perks.
You'd make a lot of things better if you *stopped survivors just bringing same same perks and running 4x the same shit.*
(this wouldn't FIX the problem, it'd probably just mean that the strongest weaker perks get picked, but it helps)
Or use a system kind of like the "pick 10" from Black Ops. Make each perk and item have a certain point value and loadouts have a point cap. You want to bring a styptic and insta heal? Fine but you won't be able to bring any of the strong perks. Want to use Buckle Up and FTP? Cool, but you can't bring DS, OTR, or anything more than a basic toolbox/medkit
Why should survivors get a restriction/rule on what perks they can bring but killers don't?
@@Lilbroomstik4 against 1 is always the favoured strength. Yes the killer may have meta gen regression and the like. As the killer you have your single perk set against 4 individual ones which in a coordinated team make it quite hard to face.
Stop complaining about survivor perks when dead plays in the vid is using 4 slow down perks which are also the 4 best in the game

i play knight, usually hitting them with the guard on downed person then playing back and forth between the person results in 2-3 injured people and a extra down if you catch a mistake
I've played against this type of build plenty of times, it's challenging but it's gets easier when they stop doing gens
I recently stopped playing dbd after the unknown was released. Most games felt the same on both sides and it just felt too repetitive for me. The constant swf with the same 4 perks felt like 2021 again when i first started playing

Yup, I can't stomach the idea of playing killer anymore. Survivor perks(some) are overtuned, and the maps are in their favor as well. When I load into eerie of crows, crotus penn, or the game, I roll my eyes in annoyance and assume im gonna lose. You shouldn't be discouraged because of a map but that's just how dbd is.
I also hate the fact that if I want to reliably win, I have to run 4 slowdown perks...

And map offerings exist... So every swf can control the maps / your hook placement etc it's insane how much power they give the so called "victims"

What are you talking about? The game is killer sided just look at the kill rates. Nightlight stats, The Game has a 60 percent kill rate, Crows is still slightly killer sided one of the more balanced maps, and the Crotus Penn has 57 percent kill rate. This game is naturally killer sided. Now if it 4-man swf which you rarely run into then it is survivor sided. Also, it depends on what killers you play because killers are map dependent. Also, one more thing there is only 2 survivor sided maps according to stats.
The DS buff was so unnecessary and will be so unhealthy for the game. Off the Record is severely overtuned and for the people + buckle up hasn’t even been publicly acknowledged to be receiving a reasonable nerf after what’s gonna be close to a year.

BHVR should just remove crap that enables them to eat hits like that, if you hit someone, they should take damage imo. The only exception for me is the in-build borrowed time.
Games like that turned me into a Blight Main running 4 slowdowns, you HEARD me right BLIGHT, the Survs did that to me and now no one is laughing anymore…..

Don’t worry they will change the meta by buffing more survivors perks so you see other builds every now and then
Correct me if I'm wrong and they buffed this, but don't you lose the endurance for OTR if you do a conspicuous action? So if you heal yourself or another survivor, or start working on a gen, you no longer have the extra health state. Knowing one of the survivors was working on a gen, then even if they had OTR you still would've been able to down them because the conspicuous action would've cancelled their endurance. OTR means either that survivor is guaranteed to not be doing objectives for 40 seconds, essentially giving you free slowdown as a reward for not tunneling, or they'll lose their endurance from trying to do an objective meaning you can down them anyway.
Same is true for DS. Survivors holding on to these for value are dead weight.
But then it forces you to drop the chase and they can go back to doing gens
that is disgusting. imagine doing everything right and getting 2 early downs, yet they managed to finish 5 gens and 1 got away
I'm telling you what makes me quit DBD as someone who plays 50/50 in this game:
Every killer runs the exact same build. Pain Res and Pop are now basekit and make working on gens frustrating beyond belief. In addition to that every second killer is a Blight or a Wesker and that gets boring so fast
But when I play killer (I have roughly 1200 hours) I get survivors with 12.000 hours while playing a killer I haven't touched in months. Wtf is that matchmaking???
Problem is if you dont bring painres and pop you cant even spare 1 min for a chase let alone only cathing up to a survivor takes 15 secs sometimes and they can just rum around a shack for good 30 secs and get a extra hit and distance with purple medkit add on sadly
It goes both ways. As a killer I see this a lot. But on the other hand playing survivor I see a lot of face camping/ slugging killers. Neither way is exciting
they deranked once and i got to face them i got no hooks and 3 gens poped in 2 minits in the game i was blight which was a killer i cant play so i had it coming for me lol.
Oh, now I remember why I stopped playing killer. I don't have as much patience as you, it's too stressful.
A complete overhaul recycling and remaking underused killer and survivor perks as well as another much needed meta overhaul would do nicely to bring massive balance to both sides as well as making killer and survivor builds less predictable and boring.
I strongly believe that the sheer amount of weak or just straight up useless perks contribute greatly to the meta issues like this but they have so much potential if behavior could just put some buffs, nerfs, and reworks in just the right places to make things not as repetitive.
I agree, another perk overhaul would be really appreciated. I found the last one was very successful and brought a lot of new perks into the mix

I don’t blame them for doing this. I always hear killers justify their actions with “killers aren’t responsible for survivors having fun” or “don’t blame killers for playing certain ways when they’re just trying to win”.

I mean, the game just had its best month since last year's anniversary( granted there was a bp event). So I wouldn't say there's hardly any killers. Kind of a wierd thing to say.
All the content creators are yapping the same saying killers are quitting because of Y. I don’t think the average killer cares so much about winning every match.
Especially when you are running an A-tier killer with the most meta perk set imaginable. CC’ers care more about their performance rather than having fun.

Honestly, I've stopped playing the game totally. I used to have bunches of fun with the game, but contantly losing [losing is okay, I know, but every single match out of the day being a sweatfest is the worst thing ever.] and constantly stressing is awful. I cannot play the game and have fun anymore. Games are meant to be fun, not stressful, not draining.
I only plan on playing during events. Other than that, I don't think I'll really mess with the game that much. I love the game and the lore and the characters, but I just cannot play anymore.

I feel like I play against teams like this very often in my region (SA/BR) survivors in swf can be so efficient in gens and chase sometimes that is not even funny..
Teams like these are why I don't run exhaustions perks, which is ironic since laggy hits are my biggest foe and I have ONLY six hits before sacrifice.
I'd love 15 hits.
I get a little salty when a killer is VPN'ing from Mars (an exploit btw) or the hit detection registers a hit when I'm clearly far enough from a window, or obviously around a corner and a range attack sometimes connects.
But, I refuse to take the low road and yes, I do sometimes pay for it.
But it's the way I try and have fun. :)
This is why I had to quit DBD the overall one-sided aspect of just allowing the survivor to escape and then most of them being very toxic made me reevaluate my position on the game. You can only build certain counters and if you get sent to the wrong map it's all over you for you. I only watch D3ad on Twitch now.

DBD is one of those games of which you enjoy watching others play it instead of playing yourself.
Ive been on a month break from this game and dont even feel like coming back at this point, all Ive been getting is players like this or hackers. I had 6 hackers in a row (very obvious hacks like flying and teleporting) honestly just kind of done with this game the dumb devs behind it.
If they make a good change or finally fix some of the issues we have been facing I may get back into it but for now its staying uninstalled.
builds like this are the worse when you get all 4 running the same character and same outfit.
Hey man. I used to go against full meta with good items every game too but recently opted to play no slow downs/good addons. As you can tell, I lose a lot more now but the games are nice and quick and I only get around 2 people with meta so it feels nicer. Yeah it sucks when you bring nothing into the game and some meta survs TBag at the end but I also kinda solved that too lol... I open the gates myself, tab out and play an mmo on my other screen. They can wait for the whole endgame but i give them no satisfaction and still get to have fun myself.
I can't force survivors to play the way I want them to but at the same time I feel like a lot of toxic tryhard survivors don't understand that if they make all the killer mains quit dbd they're not going to have anyone to play against anymore.

I main Jumpscare Myers and still get 4ks, so yes, if you tunnel you're bad at killer. if the slowest killer in the game (4.2m, barely any lunge, can't bloodlust) can consistently get 4ks, then there's zero excuse for killers like Blight, Wesker, or Nurse to tunnel. you tunnel, you're trash at the game period.

You had pretty much almost as op perk set as they had. And that is the problem with dbd...most people run the same 5-10 good perks. In solo queu it feels like you cant do shit as without communication killers perks are always better than shit random team no matter how op set you bring to the mix. Personally i think big part of it is the mm being so unforgiving that running any other than meta build makes it really painful to try win or even tie.
Didnt play dbd for months. Don’t miss it. I feel so much better playing actual well designed games like helldivers
People acting like the survivors build was horrible and saying the game is killer sided when, he is not got a 3k, he is running 4 best perk (all slow down btw) in the game and playing weaker, who is a fun killer to vs but he is still one of the best killers in the game
I don't know how it is with the high mmr because I'm a casual player on both sides, but tunnelling is a massive problem at low mmrs, so builds like these are decent. And I don't get bothered by DS/OTR as I never go back to the hook.
But high mmr is a very different game it seems, both you and the survivors played really well! It was a fun watch and makes me very glad I'm a casual player! 😅

Its fun having a ranked meta (d to s tier) but incredibly boring when playing. They need to stop beating round the bush and push some killers up the pile. Having 2 s tier killers is just boring. Why even release killers at this point for them to be mid?
I fought a team today with nurse. And i won. I got a 4 kill. But it was the most unsatisfying game iv ever played. I had to slug them 1 by 1 and watch them die.
Had another game the other day where on the eyrie of crows map. 2 people just went up top broken from the start. Repetedly jumping over a pallet to draw me in. When i down them they get off me instantly. When i slug them they pick themselves up and just run back to the top each time.
That game i lost. I just stood in the corner after realising it was unwinnable.
1 minute, 84 views, he fell off.

Unnecessary DS buff for the update..crazy that devs still don't know about their own game.
They need to make 4M SWF a separate playlist that killers can que into, or make it an option to turn on, or even show the killer it’s a 4M with some sort of indication so they can back out if they want, it’s not fun to get absolutely steam rolled by the survivors, especially toxic ones that tbag in your face and try to make you mad whilst using the most broken items in the game. Survivors will say, “then no killers will que in to that”, yeah that’s the point no killers want to play against 4M SWF. The competitive scene in this game is tiny and it’s hard for new killers who occasionally que in to these 25,000 hour 4M SWF groups, they bully them till they quit, survivors are the real bullies of this game and the ones ruining it lol.
I honestly wish we could have the old ranking system back, I don’t mind getting a wide variety of skill in my games it makes it more interesting
This can be easily fixed if devs:
1.) Show in Menu screen which survivors are SWF out of 4 & with a little pop up over their head what is their win streak together is.
2.) Lock the characters & their items that shouldn't be allowed to swap after Match is found.
Cuz going by the current trend set by devs, this can be easily taken so out of context by them & instead of fixing this problem they'll stupendously buff killer to be even more painful for Non-SWF players than what it already is just like they tried with Twins in PTB & as a direct result non-SWF players gonna suffer even more simply cuz we know how clueless devs can be.
1). Won’t this lead to lobby dodge issues that TCM has? Or won’t this just encourage tunneling of the solo players? (The answer is probably yes to both). Killer mains need to stop pretending they face SWFs the majority of the time. Or realize that SWFs happen more because the killers are tunneling so bad, making solo q miserable.
2). Sure, as long as killer perks and addons are locked as well, right? But really, this is infeasible, because some people like to spend blood points on other characters while waiting in lobby and then switch back to their intended players. Nothing wrong with that.
I do feel killers need QOL added that doesn’t nerf survivors, but enhances killers. I think killers need their own HUD. Something that communicates if the person you are chasing has exhaustion or other debuffs. I also think BBQ should be basekit, and that perk reworked to something else. And maybe a basekit ability that if a gen gets done, they get three seconds of killer instinct in their terror radius.
Survivors have too many endurance in perks and addons right now imo. Remember good old times when Mettle of Man was dropped? EARNING 4 protection hits for opportunity tank another hit was mindblowing. And what do we have here nowadays? Survs became almost unkillable without hard penalty for that.

So I commented on this video about a week and a half ago from my previous comment and I will say this to everyone. To those who think billy is broken, he is not broken. However he is pretty op thanks to his buff. The reason he is not in S tier is because his ability is not game changing and you have counter play against him. Billy is a solid A tier art best and I like using him because he was my first killer when I first started playing. As for those trying to defend me for using a strong killer, its alright. I just thought ahead of time because these where not the only swf I had encountered with this specific build. I just built it just in case I saw those survivors again. It's always good to think ahead of time for those types of teams. Hope this answers some questions you had. Have a good one and Ill see you in the fog.

am a killer main and lately i only see the same perks 4 windows 4 adrenaline 4 of the records and 4 of that feng perk ( i forgot the name) out of the 100+ perks i see at least 2 of them its game there is no room for wondering what perks the other side has anymore

i played against a squad like this, styptics and syringes with FTP + Buckle up, mind you i was playing pig so i had no power until i got a down, so after 4 gens popping i finally got a down just to get it stolen with ftp, completely gave up after that

To be fair tho the Ash body blocked and abuse his off the record which is a smart choice to an extent since he wants to win. You can’t complain what others are using when you yourself is rocking a broken setup and only play killer to win. Most solo q players don’t even play to win they play for fun but no no no the killer always play to win and so when they finally lose it’s the end of the world lol.
Hit the nail on the head. Killers play to win, but the moment survivors play to win it’s a crisis. It’s part of the game. And wonder why the game is in the state it’s in.

Ngl, the builds are sweaty but part of it is completely ineffective. OTR an DS should not be used together, because OTR extends the time before being downed after being unhooked, which makes it so you can't use DS. The correct perk to run in OTR's place is Dead Hard. So many people run strong stuff and perform well against random people that they think its effective, just gotta look at the perks objectively.

majority of players are solo queue'd i'd imagine... most of the time it's not even worth being super altruistic my teammates always get found/downed so easy... it's a fun game but there's super good killers... trying your hardest will usually end in hating life... always try to even out the hook #s take chase/pro hits etc... but unless you're playing with really good teammates or a swf it's kinda just not worth meddling with trying to sab/blind save four perk builds bad enough... automatically using two slots to hide aura/not have your character screaming into your ears each time you get hooked imo is a safe bet bgp/sab/breakout are just not really very helpful unless you're getting value which seems to very rarely happen considering bhvr puts 350 hooks on every map... should def lessen the amount of them or lower the wiggle timer give everyone one free unbreakable more chances to get endurance to survive a hit... but also balance survivor too in a few ways... considering only one survivor escapes during your first game with them being formidable with thousands of hours I'm sure it really doesn't matter how good a swf can be the killers abilities/perks are just too powerful I don't think I've ever actually seen more than maybe one or two escape from you as the killer which says a lot about the capabilities one really has playing survivor in this game but that's just my 2 cents

put any of these people in 2016 dbd and they'd get their asses handed to them so fast. like with anything else, the people who win the most consistently have mastered fundamentals. master your fundamentals, and you'll do pretty well with any killer, or against any killer, even with 0 perks.
it's why some players kick ass with 0 perks. they don't even need perks because they're mastered the fundamental skills.
