your meant to think its sick, when rebecca horn did this she was very ill and if that wasnt enough she was living in a time when sexism was still very much a problem, this signifies how women of that time were kept in rooms looking out into the outside world. like the bird trying to scratch out and fly, women were trying to get equality in the world they were looking out upon.
Hi. Do you know by any chance where I can find more film performances of Rebecca Horn? I completely love her work but the only place I could find it so far was in a museum. Thank you, Evy
does it not make you think about how limited a human being truly is...the work sparks questions about humans and how pathetic we really are...besides, all 'art' comes from a subconscious place, so it can seem/appear on first view quite meaningless to you... because that is not you...
Lol. Pretentious is the laziest most commonly misapplied critisicm thrown at art when someone doesn't like it. At least explain why you think it's bad.
She was a truly bewitchingly pretty woman and Berlin is still one of the loveliest towns in the prettiest mainland on the Earth ,Europe....but this which she show here in this video is ,in truth ,boringly meaningless ....
