Gameplay wise Pro Street and Shift series are the games that felt out of place, as the focus suddenly jumped from underground scene to professional, competition driving.

Shift 2 is my first game in this type of this game. This game is teach me how to memorize Nordschleife. Endurance round, The night Nordschleife in this game is really big step for me, but because of that round, i had memorized the Norschleife. And now i play rFacfor2, Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Project Cars 2 for serious racing simulation game, thanks to Shift 2

The Physics of NFS Shift 2 were lacking, but still fun. What really kept me racing as long as i did were these anthems. EA Never fails with OST's, and Shift 2 is no exception.
to be real, the physics in shift 2 (is not NFS), are more present than most simulators, only in shift unleashed they made the tire friction correctly, when every other simulator we are like over a rail or being pulled by a cable

To be totally honest this is a soundtrack I didn’t know I’d like as much as I do I use to just get a car and sit an let the music play it was a good damn soundtrack that took me by surprise

I could not get this song out of my head! It just makes life tense (in a good way)! Though personally I think the Gladiator remixes don't suit the menu, but for some reason it's whats in it that makes these remixes amazing for Shift 2.
Gladiator should've been the name of a race mode in Unleashed. Be like a game of chicken, pitting two cars agaisnt each other in a free for all to destroy the opponets car

Finally EA give some epic musik to there need for speed games. Not since need for speed underground 1 and 2, have i been this positive whit the soundtracks in a need for speed game. Well done EA, but also about time the musik get to the level awosenes since the underground games.
I think of this game unique towards it's own title but it is a welcome one who appreciate it and yes it is maybe one off it's kind well except Rivals but that's another thing these soundtracks what made me get the crack version of this game but unlucky it blackscreen when i came back to play again. and yes the first i think sim-cade i ever touched upon.
for who not see: NFS really are arcade games, but... where the "NFS" or "need for speed" title on the Shift Unleashed logo? inside the game you will NEVER find any menage indicating Shift Unleashed or NFS are different things. and... forza and pro street have the same physics.
I can't wrap my head around how this and something like NFS: Payback are part of the same franchise.
It's strange to think either of these games are even related to the Black Box games that skyrocketed the franchise's popularity too.

Even during daytime I am still scared of driving the nordschleife without visual racing lines
