Love the laughs and EVEN MORE how she brought it to an important message. Laughing is beautiful, and is so much more appreciated when something truly meaningful can be grasped at the heart of it.
I have always thought of the passage in Matthew 7:24-27 in relation to the story of "The Three Little Pigs". It's a great paralel to the story of the wise man and the foolish man, who built his house upon the sand. I am so thankful that in my own life, I can lean upon that ROCK.
Chonda you make my day, giving me the positive, joy , and aways assurance, that God is always so near. Jesus said fear not I'm with you always". PT L! Jesus is with me during even at my lonely hours of the night 🌉 Let the joy of the Lord be your strength 💞 Priscilla. 🙏🕯️🦋
Johnny Pozzi, she is not on Comedy Central. Her comedy reaches & touches another audience. (ones that can bring their children w/them for instance) Her achievements prove your opinion incorrect. Thank GOD for women/men like Chonda Pierce!!! Building the Kingdom is not always the most popular but the most fulfilling.
Get a grip. It's an audience full of kids and Ms Pierce is using a common kid story to entertain. Her asides are funny. Her routine is pure gold and teaches a real lesson.
There are always going to be those out there that just can not enjoy anything except ugly worded comedy and garbage! Thanks to Chondra we can have pure laughter!
You're right, this is not that funny for people to crack up as they have. To explain, I think they were already laughing from other actually funny stuff, when she turned serious. But, I wouldn't offer the doofus roast writers who think, getting Betty White to curse stupidly is the height of comedy. I would offer Brian Regan, or Frank Caliendo.
OK, I don't know how this is considered "comedy," and I don't know how people are cracking up laughing, maybe they haven't been exposed to real comedy in their lives, or i guess people just have different senses of humor. But I do know one thing, she would not do well on the Comedy Central roasts...
Comedy Central isn't Christian Comedy. Jesus told a story 2 men 1 wise who did what the Lord said & built his house upon a rock: & rain descended, the floods came, the winds blew, beat upon that house & it fell not: for it was founded upon the rock. & every one that heareth these sayings & doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand&the rain descended & the floods came & the winds blew & beat upon that house & it fell & great was the fall of it.
Blessed how she takes comedy and turns it into hope and peace ❤

God bless you. You can use humor to illustrate how much we need the Lord what a rare gift.❤

He could not huff and puff too long. Smoke a pack of cigarettes. Moral, leave those smoke alone.
I know about Katrinas, but I also know about Jesus!
