Well done Chrispy! Although I don't envision ever getting this wallet, I definitely appreciate the unique design and the overall function of it. Great review.
Great review. Love this new wallet. I have the spec ops version and will say that the money clip begins to slip off over time. The new lite version is perfect for my needs. Will be ordering one tomorrow. Also, thanks for the awesome discount code. This will be the 3rd wallet I've bought based on your reviews. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
I own the M1 Specs Op wallet with the multi tool. On my last flight, my multi tool was confiscated going thru security. The supervisor said, "it can be used as a weapon".
I have about every model of their wallets and have been waiting for Dango to combine the Rail and the Maverick for some time. Just ordered my new M1 Lite
Great review! Your video sold me on the Dango M1 Lite and your discount code saved me money on the purchase...it just can't get much better than that. I have enjoyed the wallet... It has been a very useful addition to my wallet collection. However, I tried to order the pocket clip with my wallet and was told it was out of stock. I have been trying to get a pocket clip for over six months now and the wait continues. Dando should note that this is no way to persuade a customer to buy a second wallet...just saying!
Looks like you could take the bifold off and put rails on both sides... It's a same that you have to open the bifold to access the cards in the rail. The rail is the best part.
I just actually got mine yesterday. I got it with a free M1 Maverick Rail as Dango's special 4th of July promo. I wasn't a fan of the Bifold DTex with the M1-01 clasp cause it's just troublesome and a hassle to use. So when I ordered, I added a Non Bifold DTex to my order and replaced the Bifold DTex from the M1 Lite. Now it's perfectly how I wanted it. Just a true minimalist style wallet that is very easy and functional to use.
I got the M1 Rail Spec Red. I just recently saw this one advertised, but I want a hybrid with the rails on back integrating the bifold into the rails somehow. That'd be a nice 1
This looks like the one, but I would prefer it in leather. Also, the clasp needs work. If it was a button it would be better. They could make that multitool also a button.
I was a huge fan of DTex as well at first. After 3 years of everyday use, the material started to show signs of wear in a few spots. It doesn’t look as good as patina on leather. Other than that.. I loved my M1 Maverick bi fold. Dango offers a replacement skin at $50 but I ended up buying the Dapper 03… in leather of course.
Dtex or any synthetic material will never look as good as leather as it ages. There’s nothing like that gorgeous patina on a nice piece of full grain leather after a few years. But as a leather alternations, dtex is a solid choice
@@ChrispyThings agreed! Let’s not forget that amazing leather smell as well. I might replace my Maverick dtex skin with the leather and put it back into rotation with the Dapper 03 and my Rustic Heirloom Hitchhiker in olive Pueblo leather from Carry Commission. Your reviews on these 3 wallets are why they peaked my interest.
I don't typically like these wallet reviews. Not that you don't do a good job because you're awesome at this, but I don't put too much thought and time in something as small as a wallet. I got to say, though, this is one cool wallet, and I think I'm gonna get this one. Great review as always, sir. Keep up the good work! 👍🏼👍🏼
I was like no "and go" and then you did it lol I've always wanted a dango wallet but they seem to chunky for a minimalist wallet, compared to like the topsider from opensea leather. Would you be able to do a short on the thickness comparison with your usual 7 cards and some cash?
Dango has lost me as a customer, forever. Piss poor customer service. Their "wallets" tend to be heavy, clunky, and overly large. But, their completely ignoring MULTIPLE requests for the correct wallet (they sent the wrong one) was the final straw. I don't support companies who don't stand behind their product, or in Dango's case ... hot garbage.
Excellent review. Your demonstration of the added functionality you get with a few changes really sold me on it. Other reviews missed that.
Thanks

Had my rail for a few years and I still love it. I use the lanyard with it most days.
Thank you for the review. I actually just bought this wallet for my husband, so I'm happy to see that I made the right purchase!
How’s does he like it?
@@ChrispyThings he loves it! He definitely recommends this wallet and is excited to use it everyday!
Just ordered this and used your code and it worked like a charm. Thank you for the 20% discount.
Was able to use your discount code on the Dango Spec Ops watch sale that dropped today. The sale plus your code cut the price almost in half. Thanks!

I like the direction dango is going these days. They’re aware that some people want less chunky wallets and they’re making it happen. Gotta love it.
@@ChrispyThings definitely agree with that. the little difference between the spec ops and the new M1 makes a helluva difference.
I just bought the OD green one. I have the Special Ops version. This was less bulky can't wait to get it. Thanks for the 20% discount

@sedricmalonejr I had my multi tool taken away too...sucks

Thanks for making this video. First detailed one i see. It would be interesting to see if you can add the rail system on both sides.
On both sides of the chassis? Or add another chassis to the other side of the bifold?
@@ChrispyThings On both sides of the chassis.
@@sivol89rinteresting. You’d need to remove the bifold altogether to do that
Just bought the M1 Maverick Rawhide, will be very curious to see its longevity
Just got one, The secret compartment makes it the best Dango wallet for me since i need to carry coins and it's not too bulky
20%? Thats a great discount!
probably I got a defective dtex batch, because my bifold started to tear after 3 months in the clasp area and on the folding line.
Love you videos, very informative,
Question sir, Can you put a physical steel badge on the m1 light like you can to spec ops wallet?
Are they RFI blocking?
I was like no "and go" and then you did it lol
I've always wanted a dango wallet but they seem to chunky for a minimalist wallet, compared to like the topsider from opensea leather.

A thickness comparison with the M1 Lite and the Topsider?
@@ChrispyThings yes sir 👍🏻
@@jberts3141good idea. I’ll pick a few others to demo too. Thanks!
Very cool 😎 I want this for sure…but I already have so many Dango wallets 😂😂
Can you take the bifold off & put on the single pocket backing to make it thinner or do you have to use the bifold?
This isn’t the A10 so you can’t interchange the bifold as you could on that wallet.
The only way to do that is to completely mod it yourself
@@ChrispyThings so you can do that with the M1/M2 but not the M Lite? They make a M1 Single pocket.
Does the rail ever scratch your cards?
I like this wallet I just wonder how bulky it feels
I had someone else comment about possible doing a bulk comparison with a few different wallets and this. I might do that in the next few days
@@ChrispyThings that would be great, my Contour spoils me
Will this fit up to 20 cards?
How this can be light if there is metal in it? Bet you a classic
thin leather wallet is way cheaper, lighter
千萬別買這家公司的產品,收到新品背面十個螺絲孔有四個已經滑牙無法固定,寫信給廠商,他們只是做紀錄完全不處理。

Dango sucks. Not a front pocket carry
Nothing compact about it.
It absolutely is
