Love this channel! Already knew how to make liquid chalk, but I still watched it 😄. Here is something you might not have known. Beside chalk and alcohol a lot of commercial liquid chalk has a bit of pine resin in it. Cool if you use it on plastic but outdoors it really can ruin the rock permanently. So... if you want to use liquid chalk outdoors, mix your own or make sure you buy one without any additives.
Instructions unclear. White powder is everywhere, the cops are outside and I am THE BEEEEEEEEST!!!!!!! AAAAAAARGH, THIS SNOW IS THE BEST THING EVERRRRRR!
Always put the powder into the liquid not the other way around. Less mess and less powder flying around for you to breathe. It also allows for better mixing since you can add chalk little by little to incorporate homogeneously.
Ha, never crossed my mind those silicone bottles even existed; those things are a great idea for the home made chalk...I've made some before, it was perfect my hands, but too thick for the bottle
Good video just make sure when making anything you put on your skin you aren't using any solvents that Contain Benzene(can make you anemic this is why you should avoid getting Gasoline on your hands) Isopropyl is safe enough I assume Ethanol would work here also EverClear might be a better alternative to Iso
I also made my own liquid chalk once but I added some industrial anti sedimentation agent into it so that the chalk always stays homogeneous and it’s less viscous than your version.
Another sure Fire way of making Your Hands "Gecko Sticky" is to Cut some leaves off of Peruvian Pepper Tree = {{ Schinus Molle is also known as Peruvian pepper or American pepper. It has its origins in South America. Historically its resin was used for the embalming of the INCAS }} 🙀🙀😎😎🙃🙃🦕

No homo?
@@BetaClimbers no I want my liquid chalk homo. No homo!
@@antrumkfpsalatschleuder8768 gotcha!
What concentration of Isopropyl Alchohol did you use?
70 ish
Any downside to having less water? Can it dry TOO fast?
Its more irritating and it dries your skin too much. I would advise adding water if you have alcohol greater than 70%
You missed the super glue. Thats how I stick to the holds.
bro wdym super glue do u add super glue??

"White stuff" 😁

also i'll stick to just buying it, too much effort
Followed the instructions exactly...tastes TERRIBLE!!

Ban liquid chalk! indoors, but especially outside.
No
@@ittybittybeta3703 yes. It stinks like hell, cleaning the holds is aweful, stone holds get fed up
Don't use liquid chalk outdoors if you care about the rock. Most have resin added and it fucks the rock permanently.
@@rock_your_boat This recipe doesn't.
@@CSNCSNCSN Obviously this one doesn't. I was talking abou the commercial stuff.
