i went on this ship when it was moored at southend had a tour of the ship made my day as in the 60s i used to listen to the of shore ships when i was on holiday at ramsgate / margate

No, this is not Sarah Ollett, Sarah Ollett was a presenter for Invicta FM in the early 1990's. This is Sarah Miles, who did shows for Radio Caroline at the start of the Radio Caroline Satellite Service on AM from the Maidstone studios and also was onboard for the Southend RSL in Spring 1999.

@@saraha5513 Hi Sarah, great to hear from you. I've got great memories of that Southend RSL. It was the first one that Caroline did during the time we were on satellite.
I'm doing fine. I am still doing shows for Caroline, 24 years later! I branched out with my Stafford's World syndicated show in 2006 and that now goes out on over 180 different radio stations all over the world. It also goes out on Caroline Flashback.
I lost track of your radio career, some time back. But, I remember that you went on to work in commercial radio in the early 2000's, which was great. What happened next after that? Are you still doing radio?
