I have made many blankets with this and my current one I want to put a deer head applique and a heart applique and I have the deer head completed but still looking for that right heart to finish it up.

Hello! I am starting the pattern with the magic ring by making ch2 instead of the way you're doing But I am not finding out how to continue Should I start by ch2 then ch2 again and do the dc in the first ch i did???
magic circle chain 2 dc two times sc two times pull dc once sc twice pull dc once pull out magic circle yarn dc again pull closed chain once and fasten

Tried bulky yarn before and found it hard to crochet with. But the result can be quite satisfying. Worth the effort.
