Rachel Loosli - Навчання та стиль
Does anyone else finds it weird that she just keeps rubbing her belly the whole video. 😂😂
yeeesssssssss
Dorsheila ugh! Yes. That drives me crazy when women do that. Have 3 kids and never did that more than a few times with each one.
Dorsheila there is a miracle growing in her! a fuckin little human out of her cells. she probably loves this little human so much let her the feeling of proudly holding her child by rubbing her belly. besides these takes were many minutes apart so its not like she stood there rubbing it constantly :D
Milena C I agree with you.
The baby inside her is sensitive to touch and sound and can hear everything.
THATS WHAT I WAS THINKING! 😂😂😂
Im watching, not because im pregnant but fat..
Chiara omg same
haha yas fam heeeeey
Buzzfeed would call you "plus-size".
Chiara yo same
Chiara im pregnant with food
Thumbs up for the beautiful mommy, she rocked everything they placed her in 👌
Apart from the 2000's one, NO ONE can rock anything from the 2000's
Tate Mark TRUU
she looked awesome very time!
Gothic Pies IKRR
Gothic Pies shut up
the transitions and editing in this one was slightly weird
Rachel James that's what I was thinking. this editing is horrific.
kms Why was she rubbing her belly so much? We know she's pregnant that can't be the only pose she knows.
Rachel James thats what I thought
Rachel James yeees
Its really sad about the maternity leave part... really, really sad
Kelsey Stone are you a woman? If so wait and see when you have a baby and your feelings on that will change
yeah we should just not have baby's thats great, its not like its in our natur to have baby's
Your entitled to your opinion
Kelsey Stone I wish your parents thought the same way..m
+Emily P. But they shouldn't get rewarded for that either, should they?
that's a lot of useless slow motion
The excessive belly rubbing is making me feel weird
Jordan Randell-Tredgett, I rubbed my belly all the time when I was pregnant. Not excessive at all.
I touched my belly and rubbed it a lot too when I was pregnant, but I kept willing her to quit rubbing her stomach through this. I think just watching it over and over and over again cut together in a video seemed excessive, even though I'm sure the video shoot took a few hours and it wasn't her just standing there rubbing her stomach the entire time.
Jordan Randell-Tredgett I was going to say the same thing!
I think women in some the decades she portrays would have felt a need to be "discreet" and hide pregnancies, that's what the dresses were designed for.... so they certainly wouldn't have rubbed their bellies openly all the time
She did it so slow too lmao I'm pregnant and I rub my belly quite often but this was pretty awkward
Can’t imagine what it’s like to be pregnant for 110 years.
I think she deserves a round of applause 👏
That sly fact at the end though... not like it's going to get better any time soon. :/
makes me happy that i'm british
In some states its not llegal without paid maternity leave or its not common
Its still so awful though, same with tran rights
***** you heard wrong
Ah, yes, Charlotte. The UK - where even those undergoing Brexit can still be proud NOT to live in the US. :D
How is she 100 years pregnant???
A Human in trying hard to hope this is a joke
A Human r u joking?
I hope your joking.. 😂😂
can't tell if joke or real
ouch.
BuzzFeed should do a video on women who DONT ever want to have children. We are the ones who are told we don't know what we're talking about and are patronized by others. I have no interest in children or having a child and just get talked down at by people saying 'oh you will' or 'whats wrong with you?'
The Ginja Ninja I feel the same way!
The Ginja Ninja I don't feel the same way as you but I totally agree with you.
They have..... Kelsey has talked about it in several videos actually.
I don't think there's a specific fashion dedicated to that look...
Abby Johnson Eerm.. a video. not one on fashion just a video.
no one going to mention the maternity CORSETS
Luiza Vazquez scroll up. One person asked about it :)
There's also a lot of misconceptions about corsets. They weren't ever supposed to be worn as tight as the stories you've probably heard about women tightlacing their corsets.
The maternity corsets were not to disguise the pregnancy. They had room for a belly! The misconceptions about corsets make me so tired sometimes.
corsets, or stays as they were a couple centuries ago were mainly for back and breast support, not for cinching the waist. split busk corsets made them accessible without help, and the lacing could easily expand with the body as it grew. No babies were squished by corsets.
THAT'S NOT CORRECT INFORMATION
Woah woah woah, back the truck up. MATERNITY CORSETS?!?!?? Are you trying to kill your unborn child?
Michaela Leach apparently it was for back support and didn't harm the baby (this is from what other comments have said, so idk)
Bras have now replaced corsets. Before brassieres came into fashion, corsets had to work like a bra for the breasts. Maternity corsets were made bigger in the waist and the laces allowed for more expansion in that area while it gave the breasts support.
Actually, Victorian corsets were all about forcing the body into unnatural shapes. Girls instruction manuals encouraged girls to achieve a 15" waist. Whilst most women didn't bother going quite that far, there ARE anatomical specimens of a woman's liver that has been so squashed into the ribs, it has permanent grooves carved into it, which demonstrates the dangers of what was called "tight lacing". Pregnancy corsets WERE available, but some women refused to wear them, and continued to wear tight corsets. It's one reason why so many women had miscarriages in the Victorian Era.
Michaela Leach no the pregnancy corset gave you back and stomach support the video got it wrong, and even a regular corset doesn't effect the stomach anyway
Tightlacing was used to induce miscarriage, but it would be called an accident. Whoops!
I'm 28 weeks and 2 days pregnant so I found this interesting to watch. she looked beautiful modeling the different outfits. 😊I'm currently into the last trend of showing off my baby bump, not ashamed to . much love to all of you pregnant ladies out there.😘
Alyssa A Congrats! Hope it all goes well x
I'm 21 weeks yay :)
31+2 ! :)
agreed, she looked gorgeous. yep, much love to y'all and congrats!
Congratulations!
DO 100 (or 75- it'll be enough) YEARS OF MUSLIM WOMEN FASSION!
The Kanał :D go look up watchcut video's 100 years of beauty channel, it shows muslims beauty on there and other cultures/religeons
YAASSS
Oh my gosh yes
The Kanał :D That would be really interesting! Good idea
The Kanał :D yesss
They should fix the title to, '100 years of Maternity Fashion in AMERICA'.
It's made by Buzzfeed, which is an American franchise. I would think that unless it's stated otherwise, it would be understood that the videos are about the culture that the company is part of.
Nameera Mariyam there is a BuzzFeed in Mexico as well
And London x
yes but it was talking about America
Buzzfeed is made in America, all of the other countries are add-ons.
im 9 weeks today this is really interesting
Congratulations! C:
Kayleigh Stanley congratulations! I hope everything goes well
good luck
My condolences
Kayleigh Stanley Congrats! Hope everything is okay! :)
She is so awkward, it makes me cringe.
Pregnant women tend to do that. I did it because it helped with the pain.
Ella J. Seriously. I assume most commenting that it's weird have never been pregnant before..
Cherry Pie that sucks?
Cherry Pie probably because she's just a pregnant woman who they asked to do the video and not a professional model,
Will Greigh that is probably why. I found her poses and hand gestures stiff.
Jesus Christ is she carrying hagrids baby or something her bump is massive
Eh, it depends on the person and the pregnancy. Typically women with shorter torsos show more, since there's less space to accommodate the baby, but it could just be that it's a larger baby and it's riding higher up.
or she has twins(or more)
yeah but my theory has Hagrid in it
+betta.buds, that sounds a bit daunting. To go from skinny to enormous :/
Well, think about it. Have you ever seen a woman pose with a newborn baby on top of her belly? Aside from the cushioning from the amniotic fluid(which isn't a whole lot at the end), you can literally see where the baby was originally taking up space and it isn't so weird to imagine anymore. She's got an entire little human being in there shifting all of her organs around to make room for it. Comparing the last baby bump pic with the belly-baby pose pic, you can see. Just like, "Ah, yep. That's the size of a full-term baby."
The model was adorable. I especially liked the 80's Guess overalls!
it is so frustrating and heart breaking to see that the US is one of the few industrialized countries without paid maternity leave. Being a teen, I hope to see that in the next few years, they'd decide to change it so I don't have to worry about my future.
why is it such a big deal tho? paid leave is necessary when a condition (like cancer or disease) happens and it's not ur fault, but getting preggo is ur own fault. and it does not require more than a week to have a child.
Rosie Muffins So you expect someone to work while heavily pregnant, go through labour while working, give birth and then after a week come back and work again.
örlogskapten #makeyoutubegreatagain
i didn't take more than a week off when my 3 yo daughter was born. i did everything at 9 months that i did before being preggo and i still maintained it today. i'm a chemical engineer and was still working in the lab (yes with chemicals and all) up to the day i gave birth. then came back home after 2 days, then immediately started working again, still going under intense hours before. even when preggo and as a mom, i STILL refused to take time off bc i love my job and missing more than 3 days of it means ur behind.
New drinking game: take a shot every time she rubs her belly
Madison Alcala you'd get drunk really fast at that rate
I thuNK i”m drUnk 👾🤲🏻💄👣🧖🏻♀️🧤
You would end up in the hospital with alcohol poisoning
I actually love this! The transitioning is freaking adorable
The 50's one is accurate according to what my mom mom used to say. She talked about how the pants were cut out on the front. She said how uncomfortable it was. The 70's one is wrong AF, my mother never looked like that in her pics with me. The maternity fashions in the late 70's were super cute, embroidered tops with flowers or saying on them like: Growing together...or, baby...
Is it just me or is it uncomfortable when the camera keep zooming in her face and her belly when shes rubbing it
Stop spreading the misinformation of corsets. Maternity corsets were used to support the belly, not to minimize its appearance.🙄
Aevra don't they have similar gadgets today? Like the belly wraps that are supposed to provide extra back/belly support? (And I think some maternity pants have these wrap/elastic thingies too).
The Secrets to Keep they do! belly bands are incredibly popular! I would have killed for one when I was pregnant.
Good to know
@@xVampirexCutiex I'd just like to add that pregnancy support belts of the medical variety are very padded and rigid too! They need to be to provide support for larger bellies (also helps with back support).
I have so much respect for her! She looks close to labor and she is ROCKING all of the looks! #NOHATE :)
I'm not ready for kids yet, but watching pregnancy videos make me so happy.
This just makes me miss my bump 😫 but I have my beautiful daughter in my arms now and that's what all pregnant women are looking forward to! ❤️
I'm pregnant with pizza lol
How'd pizza get in your uterus?
Callme Cray miracle boy!
No you are not
Celine Jahan no. just no.
this woman needs to stop stroking that bump we get it youre like 8 3/4 months in you dont need to stroke it every 2 seconds
Kavi A i think we should blame the director and the montage . i believe someone was telling her to do it . Women do that but not as often as we see here and not in public usually
Kavi A ... A nurse told me that rubbing your belly helps prevent stretch marks. Lotions help keep in moisture if you have dry skin and help prevent stretch marks caused by dry skin, but rubbing the belly helps with the elasticity in the skin, by slightly stretching it, so that you don't end up with as many stretch marks.
Sara Gulyas sure, but does that hold true even when she's fully clothed/the bump is covered?
Way to drop a bomb at the end! Great video.
This woman literally fits in every generation, she's so gorgeous!
LIKE FOR REAL WHO WOULD WEAR THE 2000'S SHIRT ?! IT'S DAMN CRAZY OUTFIT !!
T Honda the stomach creeped me out
I like how this one provides the music used
I wish I would have had this information way earlier. This is going to really help me so much in the future, thank you SO MUCH buzzfeed for the video
They are so running out of ideas
i've said it a million times and i'll say it again
buzzfeed needs better makeup artists. them brows tho😷
kaitlynn marie oh so I think your good at makeup if you don’t like the makeup of this woman step in and do the makeup
kaitlynn marie it’s is not about the makeup artists they follow on the years do you think that the 1970 or 1920 have the same makeup or 2018
My grandmother told me how women used to be ashamed of their baby bump and tried to hide it as well as possible. Most even tried to get pregnant in the summer, so they could carry out their babies during the winter and hide everything under big fur coats!!
I was quite young when she told me this, yet it totally shocked me!! My mum mostly educated my younger brothers and me about reproduction during her pregnancies and after that; with children's picture books and all. Like her, I think it's best to teach kids about the basics at a young age, before they learn from society that it's a taboo topic and start feeling ashamed and embarrased to talk about it.
Wow what an amazing video, thank you
This is lovely for Valentine's Day
I was so uncomfortable while she was rubbing her belly
Savannah Christian same
I think she was also uncomfortable
I kept willing her to quit touching her stomach, and I did that all the time with both of my pregnancies. It's hard to put your hands elsewhere when you've got a belly. But the editing could have been better.
She's pregnant and that's what some pregnant women do
let her be '-'
I know im going ti get lost in the sea of comments but REMEMBER ME! REMEMBER MEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
She's sooo cute and I love her energy, soo fun and silly💕
how lovely!!!
Omg let her be !!! If she want to rub her belly let her do so !! Danm !
Kinder Bueno agreed
*damn
She's welcome to rub her belly as much as she likes, but the camera didn't need to be zoomed right in on it constantly. Why not have her touching her bump in a wider angle shot so we can at least see what she's wearing?
You guys don't have a paid maternity leave?? what?! I'm in shock! 😨
it's sad. i hope it changes soon :'(
Andressa Perillo I agree in big corporations it should be a law but in small businesses owners just can't have that, they have to have employees working but I do agree that big corporations and businesses that can afford it should. Why am I watching a buzzfeed video?
Yeah, this country is behind on a lot. Maternity leave, quality AFFORDABLE medical care, institutional racism, wage gap/inequality, gender discrimination, lack of varietyt in potato chip flavour selection...
it's completely unnecessary for more than a week. that's all u need if that much time off.
Orange Oranges yeez... What if someone's a single parent? You need at least 2 months to just take care of your baby and create a with them. You can't expect a mom to just "abandone" their newborn baby after a damn week.
I love the 60'beat
Ohhh your model was beautiful! I especially liked the 60's, 70's and 90's.
MY youngest is 2 and I still wear some of maternity clothes...they are soo comfy =)
The Jabber Crew my youngest is nearly 4 and I still wear one of my maternity tops. Lol.
I'm almost jealous of her big bump. I'm 38 weeks, so due any day now and if I wear a sweatshirt, I don't look pregnant. I'm 6'2, so having a long torso really helps hide the baby. Thankful that it also means no stretch marks because I don't get that big, not one with either of my pregnancies.
Amanda I'm jealous of you! Lol. I'm 5'8 with wide hips and was still massive with both my boys. Stretch marks for daaaays 😂😭😁
She was stunning!
She's so cute! I love her eyebrows and her lips. So beautiful and may her baby be healthy 💖
can i wear this with my food baby, as I type I'm getting chip grease all over my screen
Why did it showed each style for so little? And for some of them they didn't even show the whole look, like the 60s one.
*80s
I love these types of videos there so cool
The dress from the 60s clip was cute and I want it lol. Honestly if I could have a totally 50s and 60s mod wardrobe I would
Ur amazing don't let anyone tell u different
Yeah, Buzzfeed gets too much hate
Fancy_Space _Cat Yh I agree
I was also talking about u❤️
nufc&rfc omg everyone is thinking I was talking about buzz feed
I am but
It's more about people like u
Who take the time to reply to my comment
nufc&rfc Everyone has their opinions
why does she keep rubbing her belly it is kinda awkward to watch
It is a thing that a lot of pregnant women do. I've found that I do it as a fidget now that I have a big bump. It can also be a way of discretely dealing with itchy skin. Even with moisturizing, skin that has to stretch that fast often gets itchy. Especially if you happen to be in a dry climate.
because that's what pregnant women do.
***** anything that makes a troll unhappy or uncomfortable makes me happy.
Pregnant women do it a lot, to try and soothe the child if it's kicking or fussing inside the womb, or to just simply show their appreciation and love for their unborn child(ren). :)
yoongi trash Good one.I also noticed that.
you are tooooo funnlove you both
Mama is just rocking every outfit so well. When I was pregnant (2009) I went for comfy loose tops and dresses, sometimes leggings too
up the dubs
Dublinforsam hill16 Up the yellow bellies 💜💛💜💛💜💛
Dublinforsam hill16 lily whites!
Dublinforsam hill16 I love how nobody else from other countries understand this.
Lisa Marie Whitty yeah I know it's great 😂😂
Can't believe she was pregnant for over 100 years...
No she isn't(IDK how to spell it)
She looked so good in the plaid one omg
beautiful!
Did anyone else become uncomfortable because she was rubbing her stomach so much?
Yup!
Kpop Pafflez me 🤦🏻♀️
Yes
"Corsets to disguise their pregnancies", because that's not gonna harm your baby.
Probably my favourite 100 years fashion video. Love this. You go Mommy to be! #werkit
This little lady and her baby bump were so cute!
The corset was not worn to disguise pregnancy at a time were pregnancy was revered as something wonderful and exciting lol not a lot of those babies could make it
41 views and 155 likes.. Seems legit..
Love it❤❤
aw, this model is beautiful
Maternity corsets sound really dangerous...
The 80s was so 80s lol this makes no sense
the model is lovely
I loved this vid, maternity should be celebrated and I really liked the mother to be, she looked so good in everything
Bro I understand the whole rubbing your belly thing, but she did it the whole video and near the end I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable and agitated. Also this woman, despite being adorable seems to be trying a bit too hard with the poses, also making me uncomfortable and agitated with her.
33 views with 83 likes that's not right🤔
lol at the ending they just had to add in that little fact 😂
You can actually see when the baby moves❤️
and I'm still a potato
Ella R
Same 🥔
Ella R me to
relatable. literally, same. u look rlly pretty tho.
That's a lot of rubbing.
that 70s dress gave me life
she was so beautiful and radiant in the 60s one
this should be a try not to cringe video
You cringed? Then maybe should have clicked off the video idiot
I cringed at the music and the dancing for the 60's/70's

Last dress was good👍
Man in all these videos the 70s were lit
I wanna have that style. COMFY not tight.
There was a whole lotta belly rubbing in this video
who felt as though the video was a bit cringy....she kept rubbing her belly
This lady is gorgeous
This 60s Style looks amazing on her.
the stomach rubbing weirds me out
this was a lot of stoking pregnant stomachs and i don't know how i feel about it...
This woman is absolutely GORGEOUS
omg she's so beautiful!
buzzfeed back at it again trying to copy watchcut video
WHY DOES SHE KEEP RUBBING HER STOMACH I CANT FOCUS ON THE STYLES
I was wondering the same thing
That last bit.
I think that the 60's looked the cutest on her💓
