I'll have to do that in a future video, but essentially the car changes the shift points.. in Sport mode, the car will hold on to revs to keep the engine in the power, and it makes the throttle a little more touchy for a more instant response. Eco mode is the opposite. In eco mode, the vehicle will resist downshifts, trying to keep the vehicle revving as low as is practically possible. If you drive efficiently anyways, the eco mode will work with you to get better efficiency. The smart mode is my favourite. The car will default to an eco mode anytime it can, but if you get into the throttle, the car can switch modes on its own, moving up to sport mode if necessary to give the car the right feel for whatever you're trying to do.
Diesel! Nice! They had planned to bring a diesel Sorento here, but then plans changed at the last minute and it never came. I would have liked to try that car out.
My mother had a 19 lx and we owned it 3 DAYS until a truck pulled out in front of us, and T boned them, totaling both vehicles. Ours had less than 400 miles on it. But needless to say. Our Kia saved our lives.
Just bought one on Saturday, that one has the third row seating! He just never moved the floor mats to show it, but it does have a larger hatch area than the 2015 we traded in, it is a very good improvement over the 2015 that we never had one issue with!
I relied on your video that the LX version comes with the push to start as standard, I just got my Sorento LX and theres no smart key, no push to start, I gotta freaken put my physical key and turn it to start the car.......
We plan to cover as many of these as we can. At this time, we only have LX AWD models available for video. As the new models show up, we'll get more videos up. Thanks for your interest! Feel free to subscribe to be the first to know!
You're one of those eh...you just comment out your *ss, without actually watching the video!? He mentions it clearly, & goes over/explains that feature Sherlock.
i think he has the 2018 because the 2019 sorento lx awd dash is different, it does not have heated steering wheel. the 2019 does have blind spot monitor. he's got the wrong car. lol I have the 2019 lx AWD that's how i know.
There are a lot of inconsistencies in this video. Only if you actually sell the cars do you know what it is equipped with. That is not a 19 sorento he is sitting in..
Ummm... It actually is a 2019 Kia Sorento. Perhaps you're not from Canada, and your trim packages are different than ours? But I can assure you that this is a 2019 Kia Sorento.
wow, you are very precise and to the point. Quality product and very good review. Thank you
Mine is orderd can't wait to go on our Christmas road trip too see the family lots of space
You're going to love it! The Sorento is a great family road trip vehicle!
You made me buy a KIA Sedona, haha. You are great and so informative!
Haha! Awesome! Thanks for watching. Enjoy your Sedona!
Please explain the Drive Mode Integrated Control System options. The car manual touvhes on them briefly. Thank you

KIA has really raised the bar!
2019 4wd Turbo diesel 200 HP 8 sp auto 19 inch wheels I drive , a brilliant Kia ( our 3rd Kia now ) NZ

@@BrantfordKia That's our 3 rd Kia Diesel ( 2 sorento's 2.2 turbo diesel 200HP and 1 Sportage 2.0 turbo 180 HP diesel ) don't touch petrol here .

Wow... what a story. I'm glad that you're alright!
Thanks. We were bummed. We loved that car 😔
I just bought one hope it lasts
Does the lx have the power auto trunk feature where it closes and opens automatically?
The LX does not have the Smart hatch. You have to move up in trim levels.
I thought they were all 3 rows this year. Or is that just a U.S. thing?
I can't speak for the U.S. market, but in Canada, all V6 models are 7 passenger models.

@@darrellroar182 on the modle in this video u have to get it separate bc sometimes there is no 3rd row and its just a storage cubby

Trim levels can be different in different countries. In Canada the LX AWD is Push Button start.
LX FWD dosnt come with Push Button, LX AWD has push button (CANADA models)
I drove today in Scottsdale the 2019 LX FWD/ 2.4L and did not have the push button... any Idea why? you saying the LX has the push button...
We're based in Canada. Our trim packages are often slightly different than the American packages.
What about an lx v6 trim ?
We plan to cover as many of these as we can. At this time, we only have LX AWD models available for video. As the new models show up, we'll get more videos up. Thanks for your interest! Feel free to subscribe to be the first to know!
Nice suv
Got my Kia Sorrento 2016 lx awd
Nice!
Does the LX trim come with a remote start?
That trim doesn't come with our UVO intelligence App. You would have to move up a trim to get that app, and then you would have standard remote start.
@@BrantfordKia Thanks for your reply! Do you know if it's offered as an accessory that could added after?
Waiting for the SX-L 😍
We are too! We plan on putting a video up on that model as soon as we can. We haven't received one yet.
How's the power for the 2.4?
For most people, I think it would be great. If you plan on towing heavy loads, you'll want a different engine, but you'll have to drive it to see.
Hi I have 2017 Sportage EX, 24k km done. I would like change with Sorento to benefit with more space. How can you help me?
The best thing to do is to call our sales department at 519-304-6542

How much is it
This was a review of the car in 2019 when it was new. Feel free to check out www.kia.ca or www.brantfordkia.ca for up to date pricing.
Apparently no power liftgate on this trim? Bummer!
That's correct, you can get it, but not on this trim.
But the does the trunk and always be just always going down all by yourself if you let it go
No, the trunk can stay up on it's own.
انا لله وانا اليه راجعون اللهم
I thought it can tow 5000lbs
Great question. The V6 can tow 5000 lbs. The 4 cylinder can tow 2000 lbs.
Wow I have this Kia
Nice! We're going to be talking about the 2020 model in today's live video right here on UA-cam at 2:00pm.

Piano black on the doors and dash is a dealbreaker for me.
Interesting, I love the look of that.
Big thing 😂
I have a 2019 Kia Sorento with a V6 engine. It costs $700 to change the spark plugs. Who is the idiot engineer that designed this SUV?
