Hi I’m glad I was introduced to you by my father and after hearing the first part of this message I subscribed. Great message. I got a ? About mental illness I have schizophrenia but I feel I was given this illness to learn a lesson and feel I’ve become a better man through this illness. Is mental illness that’s given to us to learn a lesson? I have more empathy and I feel mentally stronger now and in a way I feel like even though it was painful going through. I feel like it was a blessing cause I’ve become a better person

Scott Parker in my opinion this is a very heavy question. I pray you have a biblical mentor than can guide you with this question and more. My prayer for you is that the Holly Spirit give you spiritual eyes to see spiritual mind for understanding the spiritual ears for listening.
God can use anything to grow us and give us unique perspectives. My depression has given me empathy for others that struggle. Caring for my paralyzed mother has trained me in how to help others with disabilities. God will use each person’s unique experiences to help them grow closer to Him and reach out to love others. ❤️

Check where your focus and heart are at. Don’t get hung up on insignificant details, and focus on how accurate and biblical this message is and how many thousands of people this will help. No disrespect to David.
