A lot of people don’t do this but snaking isn’t just good for headies. You can go side to side while snaking to peak corners instead of shouldering and it keeps your head safer because it’s changing levels. At least in my experience.

Facts everyone watches headies in ranked so it’s harder to pull off especially in diamond but I use it on corner for search a lot and it never failed me

I actually got better after watching this vid. I still got to learn the more advanced techniques but the shoulder peaking, jumping around the corner and aiming before landing, snaking (though not as fasr and smooth yet) drop shot variations and sticking to a wall or surface when moving around the map has all improved my gameplay a ton! summary for those who want save time:
strafing (move left and right during shooting while keeping aim centered)
jump shoot (jumping with tactical sprint to the side while aiming in the air or simply bunny hop all over the map)
drop shoot (prone during the shooting)
shouldering (picking the corner against the wall with the side)
snaking (same as shouldering but moving from prone to spring)
reverse jump shoot (small jump from the corner and taking cover on the corner again as you reengage)
drop and jump ( from prone to double jump)
dolphin jump (monkey parkour movement, dive in open and land on objects you can jump over)
wall running (running close to the walls, never in open)
jump close to the door from side to side (best option to check door)

Also to add to your point of "peekers advantage", your distance from the wall between you and the enemy also affects how fast you can see them. For example if an enemy was holding an angle close to the wall and you were 20 meters away and you were to peek them, you will always see them first.

A thing I’ve been doing which has helped me win the majority of my gunfights is actually dropshotting. But in the super fast way similar to the first step (the drop) in snaking. I peek an angle not ADS but if I see someone I ADS and shoot at the same time as I fast drop shot. From their POV, if their crosshair is at head height, you strafe out at head height but then your hitbox just drops to the ground. This completely breaks aim assist and while they’re shooting their gun, the recoil is kicking up and ur flinching him as well pushing his crosshair even further up. All the while ur on the ground. In the end it just really messes w good players centering bc they have to start at head height then pull all the way to the ground while dealing with recoil and flinch. It takes a little getting used to but it’s deadly try it out thank me later

When going up a ladders, if your press your dive or slide you will keep your momentum as you coming off.

This is great info. One of my issues is not knowing where to go on whatever map im on. Its like. I have to roam around. And hopefully stumble into. Enemies. ( free for all mostly ) i know every map has high activity areas where everyone gets in gun fights. I guess i need to learn where those are

Anyone who has a regular Xbox controller i highly recommend changing your jump button to LB and your non lethal to A. Makes jumping and moving much easier

i like to do fake rotations around cover so imagine like youre shooting somebody but theyre running for a car for cover and they keep running past the car from left to right they would keep going usually and come around the right side of the car but instead i fake ppl out and come back out of cover the same way i went into it but you should do a lesson on crosshair placement too

as a Farley new player, I would like to see a video on how to get more kills and how to run a map. I run maps but it seems like I keep missing people camping or just coming around the corner . I really need some help being able to get better with more kills/survival rate. Like invasion i keep getting sniped and cant see them until after I die. I play on mouse and keyboard PC
Do you have to press jump to start sprinting after prone or just press the crouch button again?
If you're talking about snaking you just have to press sprint

It’s difficult to jumpshot due to the fact that I have to keep my aim locked in with a controller that has stick drift.
yeah, stick drift is always a pain... when it happens to me, I slowly start saving money for a new controller

@@mizcolombiana890 My advice is to try and use 'Bumper Jumper Tactical' or 'Bumper Jumper Tactical Flipped' so you can crouch / prone with R3 and jump with L1 or L2. This way you don't need to move your thumb to jump and crouch. For actual movement and in game setting I have a video that goes over all of that which should help

Press backwards a fraction of a second earlier, cause it helps you go down faster
Let me ask you about snaking, do you use back paddles? I use a scuff and for some reason I am having a hard time doing it super fast like that when I am using the back paddle for my prone. Not sure if you have any tips but I really want to snake fast but just can't seem to get it down and curious how everyone else I watch make it look so damn easy haha Any tips would be super appreciated!
Yeah bro, I have the scuf infinity 4PS (the one with 2 paddles). I have prone on my right paddle and jump on my left paddle. Is there a specific part of your snake that slows you down?
@@eelge I think it’s after coming up for the first snake and then going back into the prone Idk if I’m moving the sprint thumb stick forward to quick or something but it’s like it gets stalled it’s tough to explain. Because I have the same paddle lay out as you

Have you tried tactical bumper jumper? You go prone with r3 and jump with L2. Takes some getting used to but that's the one I used before getting a scuf. You don't have to move your fingers when you jump and duck. The other option would be to learn claw 😅

It does help bring up your gun faster after you reload of mantle, but in general it)'s just a bad habit

What is your setting for sensitivity? Is ok to play with 15-14?
I play on 6-6. It's based on preference but most professionals use a sens between 5 and 8
I adjust my sensitivity based on my ability to center quickly and my ability to control my gun’s recoil.
I see guys like biffle and emsage do a crouch and prone spam drop shot. Similar to snaking. It’s very fluid and quick. I have yet to see a video on it and idk what it’s actually called.
Ah I know what you mean, I completely overlooked it. It's more viable in Warzone than in multiplayer because of the higher HP, but I think it's just called crouch spam as you said

It’s where you have the Vaznav-9k and you double tap the “swap weapon” button in your case I think it’s triangle. Ppl think it gives you a boost in movement because you are swapping to your knife for a split second.

damn dude I wish they didn't ruin the slide mechanic, all they needed to do was patch the tac sprint exploit. MW2019 movement with dolphin diving and strafe jumping would have been so cool
Not even that, even if they removed slide cancelling, if you could just keep your gun up and shoot during/ right after dolphin dives and they removed all these ads penalties, this game could've been something worth mentioning

Realistically, you don't need movement to be good. You can play with an AR and just hold lanes and work on your aim

lol times are indeed bad, but strafing has always been part of movement, just very basic. movement doesn't just mean sliding and jumping around or breaking cameras, it can still be the most basic stuff that make the difference in a gunfight

Unfortunately no, because when you're not standing up, even if you have automatic tac sprint on, you still need to press L3 to get out of crouch, prone and sprint at the same time. That's why I try to only snake when I have to, for my controller's sake
I'm an MnK player, but I enjoyed learning some of the movement tactics 👍👍. I hate when you controller players jump over and over in a gun fight, its like the hit markers are messed when you do that to me lol

depends on the situation. In my opinion the jumpshot is one of the most effective forms of movement - if you can hit your shots while doing it

Movement is universal, the principles apply to all inputs. No one can teach you how to press buttons on your keyboard and same with controller that's up to you to figure out by playing

bro I'm on controller. Aim assist is too strong in MWII. Aim assist should only slow down your aim when near an enemy target, it should NEVER move with the enemy. Trust me it would be a lot more enjoyable for controller players as well if they tuned it down - cause the game would have a higher skill gap
