i have a lot to say about this vid, this might take awhile. the fact muay thai has more startup makes it worse than mma. sure, it might do more damage, but 1. its harder to land since muay thai can just be dodged last minute, and 2. mma technically stuns longer (even if it has endlag), meaning its easier to wait out moves and then punish ur opponent. plus, they both dont have much range, but im pretty sure muay thai's is worse. like 5k damage isnt enough to make up for the shitty startup. i forgot to mention this, but the previous fighting styles being c rank is kind of funny. i mean, sure they arent the worse, but 1. they are nearly useless when used with a weapon, which is what you should be doing with fighting styles (idc if this is a fighting style tier list and not a weapon tier list, this list is just not useful if ur not gonna talk about weapons because using weapons with fighting styles is the best way to use them by far), and 2. C is like average, and the average fighting style nowadays has like a semi-decent q spec with m1s with extended range (because the majority of fighting styles now have extended m1 range and decent q specs), and those fighting styles having neither. i remembered this after seeing that vanishing clones IS A TIER!?!? i dont see it. sure, the m1s are good, especially when used with a weapon, but the q spec is nearly impossible to start combos with, partially due to it also being predictable, and it doesnt do enough damage to warrant using it in combos, so its useless. last time i checked, a "semi-decent q spec" isnt something that would be considered useless lol. i just dont see why people nowadays feel the need to remove the F and sometimes even D tier. dont sugarcoat shit, if something is below average, put it below c tier. nearly everything on this list has a higher letter ranking than it should, so im not gonna bring it up every paragraph. puppet art being over toad flame is kind of arguable. sure, puppet art has extended range, but 1. most combos arent going to involve moves where that range would make a difference, and 2. even with the extended range, its still going to be nearly impossible to start any combos with the puppet since its range isnt even that long. id say puppets m1s are useful because they are extended, but minus that they arent that much more useful, so you could say toad flame is better (although toad flame barely buffs ur m1 damage itself, so they are kinda of fighting for "least useless m1s" when it comes to added on passives). puppet has the better q spec, but that matters less than the m1s (in most cases). its still kinda funny to see like 5 fighting styles being A tier. like, im not tryna be rude, but, minus the base combat, thats 5/12 fighting styles being A tier. i dont think that makes much sense. same thing goes with the s tiers, theres 3/12 s tiers, thats 1/4th of the entire list (again, minus base combat). 8/12, or 2/3's of this list is comprised of a and s tier fighting styles... those rankings might make more sense if u compare them to all of shindo and not just the fighting styles themselves, but even then, most of these fighting styles are useless minus their extended m1 range because their q specs are just worse than weapon q specs. lariat fist is comparable to gravity fist. lariat is better for m1 combos, while gravity fist is better for burst combos, and both of their m1 effects (ragdoll and shock stun) dont really even matter. although, lariat fist sometimes just doesnt hit, so you could give the slight edge to gravity fist, but thats for u to decide. before i talk about hurricane fist, lemme talk about the quick statement cowardcat probably didnt even think about much. he said that lariat fist and gravity fist's q spec's are good, i disagree. they are good compared to fighting styles, but atp its becoming hard if cowardcat is comparing these styles against themselves or against all of shindo. anyway, one q spec is practically only a combo extender, and the other is only a burst combo tool. they are good at what they do, but thats the thing, they barely do anything. they're decent but nothing more. hurricane fist, the most forgotten combat art (minus base combat lol). it could be good, but the m1 passive (the pull specifically) really doesnt help all that much and can sometimes make you miss m1s (the opponent is stunned but they dont take damage from the m1s), and the q spec could be SO OVERPOWERED but sometimes it literally just doesnt hit. like, you will be on the opponent with the move and the hits dont appear so they can just dash away and punish you. mind you, if they escape because the hit-box doesnt work, you can try to run, but its a 50/50. the move is still decent, maybe even good, just because of how good its mobility is, but id say it honestly isnt enough to put above gravity art or lariat fist. plus, i dont think they have ever even addressed this bug, so it might never gwt fixed, unlike the reduction of lariat fists endlag. nothing wrong with jokeis placement, however i wanna discuss how sad it is that jokei fist is the pinnacle of fighting styles. its literally just jokei but with m1s that deal a little more damage and stun a little longer. thats so boring and i wish they did more with fighting styles. its a combat ART, it should change the way you fight in more ways than just extra stun that sometimes doesnt even matter. they could make movesets for combat arts, make combat arts have different m1s that do different things (like maybe you throw a shield as ur first m1 for jokei fist), they could do something to your block or even ur dash, they could even do something unique depending on the weapon ur using. but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, everything has to be this same. this game is so devoid of creativity, why do i play i- oh right, theres nothing else on roblox that is even semi decent/doesnt have excessive grind. also, the rotation being able to control your opponent 1. doesnt make sense considering its supposed to push the person away from you, and 2. might be unique to fighting styles, but it isnt creative, was probably on accident, and isnt unique to normal moves, because stuff like sp naru 2nd can do the same thing.
Hello Cowardcat I personally think slow m1s are more of a pro rather than being a con, as it is a good cd killer for moves that are on cooldown! However this is just an opinion, so dont argue with me on the coments saying "Cowardcat is better than you so stfu" or etc.
I don't think I included "slow M1s" in any of the cons. If I seemingly did, I am only referring to the Q Specs. I don't put slow M1s in cons because obviously of the reason is similar to what you said
