Flight of The H4 Hornet Thermal Drone

I love the low rumble sound of this H4 Hornet over the high pitch squeal of the JasGad 550 I have. This drone you can't hear for more than 35 feet away and the thermal imager FLIR it has is perfect.

This one I designed myself and had the frame cut out at a laser shop in my home town. I used the DJI Flamewheel type arms to hold the motors and 3D printed the leg mounts. This took me a year to design and test fly. I went through 8 prototypes before this final concept was born. I have been building the H4 Hornets since 2014 so they have many flights and I just get a kick out of seeing something I drew on paper take flight. Thanks for commenting Melvin.
