Kirk Cameron is awesome in doing what he does. Takes a lot to be a Christian in Hollywood.
He’s not doing a lot of work “IN” Hollywood is he. I thought he had been kinda shunned. Don’t get me wrong I love him and wish they would go ahead and finish Left Behind. There are what 7 more books to do.
@@jamesgreen2060 Those Left behind movies were atrocious. They are also fear mongering people into following Jesus, the exact opposite of what the gospel is about! With that being said though I still like Kirk and this is pretty cool seeing him talk with his former co-stars from growing pains. It shows that he has had a beautiful influence in their lives through the years.

It is almost giving me feelings of guilt because I loved the show Growing Pains. But it looks like being on the show has caused all three of these some type of pain.

@@creativej I guess it would depend on what caused their pain. If the pressure of the show caused it then that is one thing. Of course as you say if they are people who are troubled regardless then it is true no matter what they did they would have had serious problems.

I grew up watching Growing Pains. Thank you for your honesty from then to now. It's amazing of the growing pains you had while producing Growing Pains.
Jeremy Miller grew into a very handsome young man.
He turns 45 this month. That is Not a "Young Man". He's a "Middle-Age" Man.

The one thing I learned during my journey is that fear is just an emotion. Usually a weapon from the enemy trying to stop us because we are the chosen great Warriors of Jesus Christ 🙏 God Bless you all. This was another amazing message

Great to see these three together again. I had no idea what Jeremy had gone through. I am happy he was able to overcome it.
Many years ago my friend from very young had a daughter who was dying from cancer. I’m not sure how she contacted Kirk but I know she loved him as his character. God bless him, he called this precious child and thrilled her! What a gift Kirk gave her!
How fun to see these three together. I pray God blesses all of them! As a family we enjoyed their characters but it’s wonderful to see how they are doing today. They all look great! Thanks for sharing!

I worked with Jeremy once on some movie and we told each other we were Christians. It was so awesome because it is so rare to find a fellow believer in show biz. His sweet heart and faith encouraged me. Thank you Jeremy.

This was an amazing video to watch. I am a little younger than Tracy and Kirk, so I watched Growing Pains thinking this is how a family was supposed to be. Short story, my family was not close to that show. We were not close to those characters. I had no idea until years later what everyone was struggling with. I can relate to the social anxiety that Jeremy experience and the eating disorder that Tracy experience. The details are different but we all have our struggles. Recovering and helping others is an amazing but difficult journey.

As a believer we cannot be "part of the world". My children are too young now, but they are not going to be part of Instagram, FB and whatever else comes along. Those things will not form their identity, the Bible will. Great show!😊👍

Just remember to be careful not to completely shelter them, because that consistently leads to rebellion
@@faithemerson6897 I believe that rebellion comes from being told not to do something without giving an explanation of why it shouldn't be done and without full agreement from the child. If the child is reluctant to go along with something, then they will rebel when they get a chance.
What I do is, explain the reasons why children of God, including myself shouldn't do something. (It pertains to a relationship with Him and a lifestyle of love, peace and freedom.)
When they are curious about that stuff I will tell them about the low self esteem and unrealistic body images. They already have a firm grip on our belief in modesty.
My children will enjoy the real world, meet real people, have adventures and serve the Creator. It is my job to teach them how to do that with a Christian mindset. Christians can't lower the bar every time that the world does. Christians have the advantage of being free through Christ, we do not have to bend to the demands of an emotionally, spirituallly and sexually fallen world. Christians are liberated from that world! 🥳🎉

I really appreciate how vulnerable Jeremy was in sharing his struggle with anxiety. I have dealt with anxiety myself since I was a child. Granted, i am an Overcomer! But there was such a peace in hearing Jeremy say to his younger self “don’t be afraid.”

This was awesome, I loved Growing Pains growing up. I also had the pleasure of meeting Kirk in Waco, Texas while he was doing his Living Room Reset tour. Thank you all for sharing your difficulties, I had some as a child too, I always had to be “on” too my father was very prominent in the community. We were not well off so even more pressure to be good. Also, dealt with the issues of being adopted as well. Blessings and Peace ❤️✝️

luv these three people...luv that they grew up to be such good people! growing pains was my family's favorite show, we never missed it, such a wholesome funny family show that didn't push an agenda, wish there were still shows like it today, also luved full house, family ties, the cosby show to name a few more clean family shows of that time...i admire kirk cameron so much for being such a strong man of God, esp. being in or formerly in such an evil industry 'the entertainment industry'... Our hardships in life are not a waste when we use our experiences to help others to navigate through similar situations later on. We are not as alone in our suffering as we might be prone to think at times.

I’ve had social anxiety paralyze me for so long I can’t even imagine a life any different, unless I think about eternity w God. Sad, but true.

"Fear of man" holds us back, ask God for help to see this fear of man for what it is. We are ALL sinners who fall short of the glory of God.
Ask God to help you or fast. I don't know but God can transform you afterawhile. Sometimes these illness can take over us in a way we can't live. That's where we must ask God for help then he shows us what to do or just really shows you your behavior. I'm still on a journey with my body image and being scared of being myself but one day I will accept myself entirely and one day you won't have to deal with what you deal with now. We are only captive of our brains. God bless you.

The gospel is 1CORITHIANS 15:1-4. Jesus Christ died, buried and rose again according to the scriptures. His blood payed the penalty for all our sins. And the moment you BELIEVE, the Holy Spirit seals you til the day of redemption. This is how we are saved. Not by works least any man should boast.

I grew up watching you kids. Breaks my heart. I was so into show....never realized in that moment what was going on in your lives. Hollywood destroys lives. That's their plan. It's part of the predictive programming. It's a control thing. Keeping you all in prayer. Jesus saves. He died for you. Trust in that. It's a free gift. Just believe he did that for you. I think that Tracy was always beautiful, had a big crush on her back then. Am 56 now and remember that my feelings were wholesome and respectful of her even at that age. Proud of that fact. It’s nice to see all three of them again.

I too have dealt with alot..( as im sure many have) not as an actor, but issues none the less.. a huge one was the man I loved of 17 yrs died from alcoholism this past Feb.. so that is quite hard yet.. God bless you as well. I'm so sorry for your loss. I've never been married and so never lost a spouse, but my dad died in 2011, when I was 7. God brought immediate good from what happened, and if it would help you, I will surely share my story, because He truly does bring good from even the deepest pain.

I have cancer and I live with fear every day but I am doing my best to not let it control me. Staying positive (mostly) and prayers from many many friends and family members. Currently no cancer detected in my body. I was diagnosed in Jan of 2020. Cancer was gone in August but came back following July. I'm still doing chemo. I feel pretty good overall just tired a lot.
Amen. Whether there is a god / gods or not, is of no consequence to me. If the God is loving and just and merciful, I have nothing to fear. If there is reason to fear a god, that is not one I will worship. Indeed, I don't believe a kind, loving god would require/demand worship. If God is even as loving and compassionate as a good human parent, I have nothing to fear.
I choose to live from a place of love and compassion rather than fear--and my life and mental health has improved immeasurably since leaving Belief and embracing uncertainty, living Now, and treating others and myself with real Love.
"don't be afraid"... that's like saying here's how you fly plane: you just get in and you fly it...
I know this is much much much later than when you experienced such pressure but understand that we, who are truly your fans, even today loved you for your talent and personality ❤
Those who demanded that perfect look in Hollywood are not representative of the real, everyday public.
Sure we all love the cute ones but we who love people think everyone is truly beautiful and worthy.
We know God made us all just as we are.

I think if you're a Christian. It doesn't matter what city you live in. Exspeacily in the United States! I wouldn't consider it a lot of pressure to be able to speak your mind on Christianity.

I always felt sad for Tracey because she's a regular girl. She's not a Hollywood glam. That's fine.
When you fear you doubt GOD....and you cant trust GOD if you doubt Him
The first two seasons bring me so much joy they looked like good people and look like they have real loving relationships. Planet resources getting fewer and population growing pressure is doomed to increase but this show should always be remembered. I think they deserve all the best in the world and should know how much they are still loved by their audiences.
