5:10 Interesting bit of information that will most likely be glossed over: the Indians came from the reservation. Even back then, the reservation Indians were often described as "peaceable," while in reality most bands of Indians simply stayed on the reservations while it was convenient. The moment the annual annuities would dry up, they Indians would jump the rez and get back to hunting and raiding. "Peaceable" was a relative description for Indians, especially Comanche.

I suppose having everything stolen from you and starving on a concentration camp can force you to terrible revenge

They are Stone Age peoples. They preyed on each other before the white man cane and attempted to civilize them.

the comanches stole the land from the Apache, Tawakoni, Karankawa, and others. They tortured the men, killed the babies, and made sex slaves of the women. This is well documented. Don’t kid yourself, if the Comanche had had the numbers, they would have exterminated everyone. If you’re looking for good guys and bad guys, you don’t understand history.

It's been said that the only thing between the Texas plains and the North pole is a barbed wire fence.

@donc9751 ye Gods, I always thought the northern US was where it was freezing and Texas was hot open semi arid grasslands, all those years of watching western movies led me astray.

IMO, your channel will be a lot more interesting if you actually used YOUR voice. I hate AI voices, can barely tolerate, sorry. 🤷🏻‍♀️
