- New York lyricist Mysonne stopped by VladTV to discuss his recent freestyle with Hot 97's Funk Flex, during which he spit about the time he spent in jail for a crime he did not commit. In the clip above, Mysonne explains the circumstances that conspired to put him behind bars for 7 years at the age of 20. He also notes that had he cooperated with police, he probably would not have gone to jail. "I woulda never gone to jail," Mysonne says, "But it was my burden." Watch above.

I'd agree with you 100%, if there were enough jobs to actually provide for everyone. I live in a city with 50% unemployment not because of most peoples choice, but because all the works been out sourced over seas. I know plenty of people who'd love to be able to put in a 9-5 to provide for there family. That's not always an option so people are gonna do what they have to to survive. I'm luckily blessed with a job that's almost sustainable. However cost of living doesn't match wages at most jobs. So you really need 2-3 people working to even support a house hold.
Amen, to that. I didn't mean that as a generalized statement. I mainly meant not everyone who falls into the lifestyle is after those things. As I can personally attest to from people I know. I think a lot of these kids are just trying to be cool/accepted. Somehow that's what is cool to these young kids, but that just shows the influence of modern music on society. If they actually knew the truth they'd know it's not an easy way out or anything like that. Any old head will tell you what comes with it.
