How about a video telling these males where they SHOULD apply and would fit with the campus culture? I have two such sons who will be applying to colleges in a couple years.

As mentioned, I acknowledge that I am being verbose in this series and the reason I am is because I am fleshing out my ideas live and I believe it is important to repeatedly clarify that my perspective is based on the macro data (averages) and how this redounds on "red-blooded" American young men. In this video in particular, I am focusing on how the relatively recent de-emphasis on standardized testing in the admissions review process coupled with the repeated redesigns of the SAT and ACT over recent decades has disproportionately hurt men. While a little tertiary to your point, the problem with the essay portions of the SAT and ACT was the reliability of the measure. With apologies that it's just our experience, outside of the service academies, we have found very few colleges that will even consider it for that reason.
Live in silicon valley, not sure about that take about tech leading the dumbing down....I think that type of thinking came from left and far left areas like SF, Berkeley,Oak and possibly others. Tech from what I have seen tends to hire based on merit, some people I know don't have college degrees and they are managers
Not such a valid source anymore. Merriam-Webster has been busted several times in recent years for changing the definitions of words to match popular political opinions.
@@MOTV583 The free online edition can occasionally be misleading. This is a case where the snippet used was very misleading. At a minimum he should use the Collegiate version.... Not the free version.

Google SF removal of algebra as an example, however that type of thinking is being walked back as of late 23 elections (for the better imo)
