Thank you for your time and patience to explain all of these techniques and what exactly they do, it was really helpfull. I have finished level 1 Maitland course a while ago but the instructor never mentioned mobilising thoracic spine in a diagonal direction, he said to just do a direct downward pressure. And he also never mentioned that the facetes are higher than the spinous process. Is it something that you learn later on and it was just a way to not confuse us too much at start or did he show it wrong? Edit: I just checked the videos on the official Maitland (imta) site to make sure I didn't get it wrong and there it's also shown directly down (not at an angle). I'm confused which method to stick to. Is one of them completely wrong or could both of them prove to be beneficial?
