I had a little peek around and I think he is who he said he is from the few clips there is out there (Based on voice). Either way, that attitude and use of slurs is highly inappropriate and he should reflect on his own plays first and foremost.
He did 10 elims per 1100 damage.. Wowzers. He had to do 1100 damage before scoring an elim. If that was him getting the kills at all. He was obviously not hitting consecutive headshots. Either that or he was shooting tank all game long. Or both.

I'm really disappointed in Ampere's behavior. Not once did he engage with you in good faith, he simply unleashed a series of personal attacks on you. As an illari main i average healing and damage around the same. Looks like enemy illari did better just looking at stats did better. Were is this 11k dmg going? With no elims? They had a roadhog. Makes sense. Tank farming lol. We dont claim him.
Yeah I was looking at their stats (his damage was impressive but his elims were comparatively low) and thought "Was he just shooting the tank a lot?" and then the replay was shown and confirmed it. Really weird gameplay if this guy is actually a pro.

In season 8, I remember beating an "allegedly" Master's Tank as a Plat Tank. I didn't say anything, but as the game is ending, they typed something along the lines of "Trash Plat Tank player. Relying on the most broken tank in the game" (Mauga).
I replied with "still won". Which they got even angrier and told me to talk to him when I get into Masters, his level, without abusing the system.
Replied with "smurfing and still lost ?". Which they added me after the game, which I assume were either a miss click towards the report button, or they tried to "talk to me" further. I ignored it ofc.
Somehow I met the dude again in another plat lobby in season 9. The match ended early because one of the support on their team left, which I assume because the "masters" tank dude kept flaming them on match chat.
I began to wonder if that "masters" dude was actually a masters player to begin with, since they were flaming their support for not being able to out heal the damage from 5 people shooting at them in the open.
I never believe anyone who sucks at the game to be what rank it shows. As buying an account was very easy to do in overwatch 1 I bet it was not that hard to do it in 2. I have seen vids of people watching someone on top 500 playing like it the first time on. And it is sad to the soul.

Doesn't matter if you're on a high damage support, you should still be healing, that's why it's called support and not dps. Good support players know how to do both. Supports like bap, ana, kiri, illari can all be doing high heals and high damage at the same time. You can clearly tell mans is just shooting the hog all game and that's why his damage is so high. Like if you wanna do a lot of damage at least put your pylon in a good spot for your team... this is so sad

It's like this in every rank. I know that as a tank or dps I'm not going to get healed. Some asshole in some other country makes video's on how to climb rank as heals by dpsing. I'm lucky if after the first round my healers have 1k heals. I started playing hog just so I can heal myself and a lot of times I have more healing done then both my healers combined. Reporting does nothing.

Having low healing on a support is viable, you just have to be good enough to pull it off (and not just shooting tank lol), although you should still be healing when you have an opportunity which is why 3k is still suspiciously low. Surely he can't be a pro with 7:20 though, that's just embarrassing.

Edit: Watched the gameplay, and while bro def made some questionable decisions he was also distracting the enemy tank, making the enemy look at him, and pumping out more damage than your entire team. If you guys lost when he was doing all of that, it is 100% your fault. Like yeah, he could heal more. But why should he heal if the enemy is looking at him and not others? He wasn't right to be rude and all that but he was def not throwing.
No, respectfully I absolutely disagree with this take. It is not the support’s job to be the distraction for the tank, he should not have gave his life up to the Hog by going back in because ‘Hog was 1’ when he was back at his own spawn. Shooting the tank is meaningless when it comes to Hog since he’s just going to breather and get that health back along with ult charge.
There is zero defending a 2k healing Illari when most of that healing came from himself using the pylon. This is a team game and having a support play distraction by DPSing is as good as having a solo support.
@@SakuraChai it’s a popular playstyle for Illari in high ranks to literally play as an off angle dps and using the pylon for themselves. This can work because the distraction is what you contribute to the teamplay aspect. Whatsoever, if this doesn’t work, you have to adapt and change something obviously. If you try to distract, then distract anything else but the Hog with pumping meaningless damage into him, you are right.
I’m a Masters support main (mostly Kiriko) and there are games where I barely heal but I support my team with perma annoy the whole enemy team. People always complain „lOoK aT Ur HeAl“ but at the end, we win. They don’t even realize that I’m the reason they had so much kills and space.

The reason your rifle has a charge for healing is to get in some shots while it comes back- it's not your focus
Funnily enough, the pylon upkeep and placement should be your focus. If the enemy is targeting it, best to destroy it yourself and place it somewhere else. If you know you'll die, cast it, because value on death for the team

Reminder pro players are pros at coordinating teamwork so take away that 5 man teamwork and most barely scrape diamond.

Tbh if you act like that as a "contenders player" you should be stripped of that role/removed from contenders. You should not act like that claiming you werent the problem when you were a support with 2800 heals and 11k damage, it should be the other way around heals come first now, it isn't old overwatch 2 where supports could vaporize anything they wanted.

listen. i am an illari support main. i am SILVER 1 illari support main. some of the decisions here are what i see in silver lobbies. some of these decisions are choices that i have had to learn NOT to do as someone who is learning and trying to rank up. the pylon placement is atrocious. barely anyone is capitalizing off of it OR the enemies can just take it down immediately bc it was in the middle of a choke. illari, even after season 9 patch, can do wicked amount of healing and damage if you are balancing your heals and dps. always make sure your team can follow through when you ult. illari cannot just spam out damage. her weapon needs to charge which means her ult is more effective when you play with your team. i am a better illari than this person. i am silver 1. i have seen better illaris when i was hard stuck bronze. like ??? crazy. if you have the least amount of heals in game as illari, you are playing her wrong. she should never be the lowest in the match.
