Hey Emma, how do I show "impact" if all my projects are for university coursework or personal projects? I can just say what the project can be used for, but I can't show any numbers like "led to 15% increase in user retention" etc. What do you suggest I do then?
Even for class or Kaggle projects, I'm assuming there are quantitative results such as accuracy, precision, recall or MSE, etc. You can tell a story of what does this metric mean, why was it difficult to achieve, how it was improved over some baseline models, etc.
Hi Emma, your video is incredibly practical and helpful. I have a question - Sometimes the projects don’t reach the production stage and remain at the development or prototype phase. How can we effectively highlight their impact on our resume, especially when the projects are interesting?
Hi Emma. I like the way you ask questions to transform normal tasks into an important step in the project. I will learn this technique. Your video is so useful when it is demonstrated with examples. Thanks/Lydia
Hi Emma, could you talk about the differences in data science among different industries? For example, for fintech, what are they focus on? which kind of problem are they trying to solve? Thanks!
@@emma_ding I'm preparing my resume and I realized that there are few videos talking about business sense for different industries which I think it's important for a data scientist. Thanks for your help in advance!

most projects are boring, the way you present them matters!

Hi Emma, could you talk about how to do the take home challenge? How to make the powerpoint and present it?
Thanks for the idea. That could be a great topic. Stay tuned!
@@emma_ding Same here! Would love to see a take home/deck-making video :)
I just completed my interview loop on Amazon. Your videos helped me a lot. Thank you! Thank you!

super helpful. Thanks Emma
How to get interview feedback from the recruiters? Among all the interviews I had they never provided any feedback!
It never hurt to ask for feedback. If you couldn't get meaningful feedback, you could try mock interviews.
