For my own part, I don't ignore people I already know or have conceived eye contact with. I usually say 'hi', just to confirm that I have seen them or recognized them. Then it's up to them to take the next step. I work in a service-minded business so I'm used to interacting with others, so if they want to share their personal sphere with me, it's ok by me =)
About your elevator awkwardness, I would likely strike up a conversation and have a nice visit. When I'm out and about, I feel like everyone is a good friend. Maybe growing up and living in a small town explains that. (Edit: I'm in Alaska)
Oh yeah, we often drive to Sweden just to shop😅

Yeah, a casual nod should be enough 😂

Nah Sweden is much cheaper. Just for snus alone(tobacco) a box over there is 50nok in Norway its 90nok almost twice the price.
but why though? Why is Norway so expensive?
@@NordicReactions they tax everything thats unhealthy way overboard like sugar etc
Norwegian wages are much higher than in Sweden. Every spring there are negotiations in working life where employees demand higher wages.
