Happy Jaehyun Day!!! Time flies by so quick, I hope he's doing well ♥ Also... Happy Valentines Day! ^^ I hope you guys enjoyed this Valentines special :) Of course only one question would be appropriate for this video: Won't you be my valentine?
one smol feedback nugget: the Chinese members don't really say "aish" or "ya(h)" so much when they talk, because that's a korean thing. Even when speaking Korean, they don't tend to use them. Because "aish" is a gentle swear, it's uncommon for them to use it over just a disgruntled noise. "Ya(h)" is more common, but has a specific context within Korean language because it's informal and rude, and it's more common for a name and/or honorific to be called out instead. Just some food for thought :)
Wow o-o I actually never thought about it. I just saw Renjun use it a handful of times so I assumed it was okay, since the Korean culture does tend to rub off on people easily, but now that I think about it, I really can't remember Winwin or Kun or other Chinese members using it that often.
@@NCTzenMayya When the dreamies gang up on Mark, even Chenle (more so when dealing with Jisung) and Renjun will call "ya(h)!" but that's still within the specific context of getting someone's attention. When they say "aish" it's usually if they're joking about their frustration or mocking someone/thing. It's not a big deal, but it's just something to think about when writing Chinese characters from the kpop scene. I've seen people write up c-pop idols with no link to Korea whatsoever as if they're Korean and it's really bizarre, but nobody seems to realise hahaha
