Qantas welcomes our fifth refitted B747-400 aircraft

Our fifth refitted B747-400 aircraft took to the skies this month. Refitted B747-400 aircraft are now operating on several routes including Brisbane -- Los Angeles; Sydney -- Dallas; Sydney -- Santiago, Brisbane -- Los Angeles; Brisbane -- Singapore; and Sydney -- Los Angeles -- New York.
The Economy cabin features the award-winning seat featuring a unique footrest net and ergonomic cushioning, state-of-the-art Panasonic inflight entertainment system on larger personal touch screens with over 1,500 content selections, a self-service snack bar and the introduction of a more generous and intuitive inflight service experience.
In Business, customers can enjoy the fully-flat Skybed, mood lighting and the new espresso coffee offering.
All nine B747s will be in service by the end of this year.
