Don't make me go get my flying monkeys!!!! Daphne, this is incredible!! I will definitely be creating with you on this one! What a fantastic job!! I love how it flows and how you showcased the amazing artwork. Wow! This is a show stopper! TFS and I'll see you along the journey ❤️
I viewed this walk-thru two years ago and am finally making the album. I like the album even more this time. The cover is amazing and I like the new ideas inside the album. I only have one DCE so I’m going to try and steal some leftover solid paper from Halloween in Wonderland. I’m anxious to see how that works out. Thanks Daphne and Scrap N Create for the inspiration.
Scrap N Create, thank you for sharing another amazing album by Daphne! We love the album layout and fun idea of having the album done in the same sequence of the movie. The explosion feature with the G45 Policy Envelopes is also very fun! Thanks again for sharing!
Another fantastic album. My all time favorite movie. My granddaughter and I watch it every year (she's 20 now) and was Glinda for Halloween when she was 6. Just ordered supplies. Thanks so much for inspiring me.
Very enjoyable tour of this well designed mini album. Love the hanging charms on the spine! I like dimensional paper piecing on the cover...always draws my creative eyes. Thanks for letting us know just how much designer paper for this type of book!! Well done!
Beautiful Daphne. This is definitely one of my favourite albums. Would you consider making a 8 x 8 mini album using stamperia wedding paper? Thanks very much for sharing 😊
I thought I had responded to this earlier (I must have forgot to send). I have a 8 x 8 album using stamperia ceremony and precious. You can find it here. ua-cam.com/video/ymY-LWxWCmM/v-deo.html Daphne
Wow I'm on page one and already love it, the colors, how you did the cover. I don't know if this paper is still available or not. This is going to be good... Tabs for the 4 characters was a great idea.
Graphic 45 just re-released this collection so it's available - I have detailed tutorials for this album if you decide to build one for yourself. Daphne
We organize all our projects into what are called "playlists". The playlist will have the name of the paper collection used in the project. In the case of The Magic of Oz the playlist will be "The Magic of Oz". How to get there: From our channel home page just below the video box you'll see some menu items you can select "Home - Video's - Playlist - Community - Channels - About". Select the "Playlist" and all our projects will appear. Scroll down to "The Magic of Oz" and select "view all videos" and you will see a list of all the tutorials for that project. If you want to go straight The Magic of Oz playlist click here ua-cam.com/play/PLlvJcQuwybTKzq5Du3tsrmV0-yeF1RT0H.html These instructions will help you navigate all of our tutorials should you want to build another album in future. Hi I really enjoyed watching your video to get some inspiration I have been wanting to make something like for a long time now but I just couldn’t find the paper that I liked. I was finally able to find it available. I also was wondering can share with me where you bought your charms thanks 😊
I loved your video on Oz. It’s got me so excited for a Christmas gift for my Grandaughter. She is an adult but has a 3 year old so I think she will love it. Do you ever use glossy accents on your journals? To glitz them up. Thx
I just glue it on. I think dealing with the screws is a bit of a hassle...but if you expect that kids will be handling the album you might want to consider the screws.
Thanks! After I watched the last video, I saw how you attached the knocker before attaching it to the album. Love your videos and am trying to watch all to see all of the various elements you use in your albums.
Hi, Daphne. I am making this album and putting the paper on it today. I noticed that my exploding features are not square. They end up being 5 3/4 x 5 7/8. The base is square but the rest is not. Is that correct? Thanks!! Enjoying this album and love your creations. I so appreciate you sharing your talent with us.
EEK! I made a mistake on the cut/score list! I'll fix it but in mean time here is the correct cut/score for the exploding feature. thanks for the catch. The base is square and the first flap will be 1/2 larger than the base (to allow for flap hinge), each of the following flaps will be 1/8" lager... so (1) Base 5 7/8 x 5 7/8 Left Flap 6 3/8 x 5 7/8 score 1/2 on 6 3/8 side Right Flap 6 1/2 x 5 7/8 score 1/2 and 5/8 on 6 1/2 side Bottom Flap 6 5/8 x 5 7/8 score 1/2 and 3/4 on 6 5/8 side Top Flap 6 3/4 x 5 7/8 score 1/2 and 7/8 on 6 3/4 side When finished it should be square. Daphne
Luckily the banners are right it was only the cut list i needed to fix (which is much easier to fix). ua-cam.com/video/Wyr-ZUIPkfE/v-deo.html if you skip ahead to 32:35 That's where I actually build it and you can see the banners. I have corrected the cutlist as well. Daphne
I use Graphix chipboard and make my own albums. It you go to our "playlist" you can find a playlist for "base album tutorials", we have detailed tutorials for varioius sizes enjoy. Daphne ua-cam.com/play/PLlvJcQuwybTI2zPc9d_b3mKqHanAsxnSo.html
I use Neenah Astrobrights in Eclipse black - you can find it in walmart in the "office" section (not in craft). I use it for black and white albums (wish they made cream). Its super smooth does not warp (at least not with art glitter glue) and its reasonably priced. If you are a stamper they white is awesome to stamp on. Daphne
Wow !!!! Your work is so Beautiful !!! So happy to have found you through ‘Suggested Videos’ 😃😃😃. I will become your Subscriber immediately after my comment 😃😃😃 Huge Hugs 🤗🤗🤗. Have a wonderful weekend, Daphne !!!
Thanks so much! Be sure to click on our "playlist" you'll find all of our tutorials grouped by project for ease of use. Look for the paper collection and select view all video's and the series will appear. Be sure to share! Daphne
I noticed that you are out of stock on the collectors edition could you email me when it is in . I would love to make this album. and I also need the policy envelopes when you do get the card stock in
I add chipboard to the back of the fussy cut items. You can also use foam but i prefer that the items be rigid. I trim the chipboard down to a rough size and glue it to the back of the item. If I have more than one layer I repeat the process and place on top of the first layer. Check out this video ua-cam.com/video/BvGBhFiZmO4/v-deo.html got to 11:46 and you'll see where I layered the lion for the cover of Oz. Daphne

I used to...but anymore I'm under time pressure to get new books on the channel and the dry time can be a killer. Daphne
Love this! How do you attach the knocker on the spine? I see there is a screw in the package, do you screw it in or glue it in.
I just glue it on. I think dealing with the screws is a bit of a hassle...but if you expect that kids will be handling the album you might want to consider the screws.

The base is square and the first flap will be 1/2 larger than the base (to allow for flap hinge), each of the following flaps will be 1/8" lager...
so
(1) Base 5 7/8 x 5 7/8
Left Flap 6 3/8 x 5 7/8 score 1/2 on 6 3/8 side Right Flap 6 1/2 x 5 7/8 score 1/2 and 5/8 on 6 1/2 side
Bottom Flap 6 5/8 x 5 7/8 score 1/2 and 3/4 on 6 5/8 side
Top Flap 6 3/4 x 5 7/8 score 1/2 and 7/8 on 6 3/4 side
When finished it should be square. Daphne

Did those numbers workout for you?
@@ScrapNCreateVideos thanks for the fix and the clarification. I must have been only listening and not watching when I made the explosion piece!

We do have charms which are a gift with purchase. Daphne
Question how can you pay for by Debit or credit ? I'm new to this and want to try it.
When you check out - you can use a CC option...it's kinda small so you have to look for it, but we do take CC. Daphne
Great Project :)
Talking hands…….UGH!
Great job, Daphne! I love it!
