Looks very beautiful. Thanks for taking the time to make this lovely vlog. I’m from Michigan and I was amazed by how similar the aesthetic, beaches, vibe, sunsets and everything look to western Michigan on the coast of Lake Michigan! The lighthouses, sand beaches, piers, everything. Specifically places like Glen Arbor, Saugatuck, Charlevoix, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Grand Haven etc. 🥰 Of course we don’t have whales 🐳! But our Lake Michigan is more like an inland ocean than a lake. I’ll have to put Cape Cod on my bucket list.
As someone who mom lived there her whole childhood and has all family there ask a local they always know the right spots! Often time tourists miss out on the real gems.
Everyone should see the cape once and Providence town and see the light houses one of the best trips I ever taken I been all around the world this is my top ten beach town clean beautiful and safe family oriented
The drive inn actually doubles as flea market in the mornings. I actually delivered seafood to most of these restaurants. Definitely good quality seafood.
*Mac's Shack is in Wellfleet, not Orleans ;-) But one of our favorites too! And I just realized that the dock in your slide at 5:04 about sailing on Pleasant Bay is actually our dock!! You have excellent taste
Loved all the tips here, I am planning to visit Cape Cod soon and putting all your tips on my notes! Haha Thanks again. I always think that travels are made easier when you have the best travel gears and essentials too. The bento bag from Nomad Lane is my best carry-on bag for dream vacation destination like this. Thought I'd share it to you guys too!
Hyannis through Dennis, not good. 6A all the way up is beautiful also Sandwich down to Falmouth (Woods Hole) Skip everything along 28 till Harwich. My 2 cents....
My best friend lives in Hyannis year round. This is the time of year he drives off cape, or we don’t see each other til fall. Everything there is overpriced, there is way too much traffic. Last but not least, there are to many sharks to swim and surf in the summer.
You totally ignored my hometown Bourne on both sides of the Canal!!! Lots of great stuff in Bourne!! Two Golf courses... boat rentals!! & great B&Bs!!! Rent windsurfers and Go see the monument in / at Monument Beach... Go sailing in upper Buzzards Bay... wonderful restaurants. .The crab shack In Buzzards Bay.. the Apatuxet trading post built on the Manomet river by the pilgrims in 1623... on the site used by the Phoenicians 3000 years before says the inscription on the Bourne Stone at the Historical society building next to the Canal!!! the sign at the Bourne Bridge Rotary says to all tourists "" Welcome.. Spend all your money and when you leave PLEASE take a Kennedy WITH you !!! :)>
Thanks so much for you inputs Lewis! Yes the list I shared is definitely not all encompassing of the Cape so inputs and recommendations from the locals are always appreciated :) Thank you for sharing, Bourne sounds great! :)

Thanks for your comment! Oh no it looks like I have thank you for flagging :) I have never been but do you have tips for that area? I’m sure it would be helpful for the people watching this video!
@@anjaschannel4907 Probably the smallest village on the Cape. Between Mashpee & Oysterville which you missed too. Happy to show you Cotuit next time you are around. Al, 1319 Main St. Cotuitbreeze@comcast.net
What makes Cotuit different it is off of 28 by a mile or 2. Smalll grocery store, PO, Library & restaurant/bar on the weekends. Bedroom community/village. 5 ways get here off 28. Few beaches. Very upscale.
You just gave the best break down of visiting our beloved cape cod simple , and very informative ❤🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for sharing your hometown. Insightful and value-added.

I was born at cape cod hospital and grew up here. It is beautiful but the natives take it for granted. Great list.

@@alcourtines4707 super cool! Thank you for sharing Al! :)
@@anjaschannel4907 Knowing where to park is only known by the locals. Ticketing cars is common, but towing is not, it happens on rare occasions.
HYANNIS is NOT a town. Ugh. The town is Barnstable, one of the villages in Barnstable is Hyannis. HARD PASS.
Who doesn't love New England! 😍🌅🌊⛵🐬❤️🤗😎
