She in CA, while he's in TX. They only visited a few times during their 14 months marriage. Also, the first son (Pierce) was not the only person suing the estate, one of Marshall's son (the third one) was disowned, and like Anna, he claimed his dad has given a verbal promise for inheritance (Anna's case was stronger because she did tape a bunch of home recordings of her telling Howard to tell the camera how he's going to give his money after he passed away--so at least, there are video proof on Anna's side).

Everyone has the right to their opinions. Me voicing mine doesn't mean other's are wrong. If she was just trying to 'take' his money she could've married him years before she did. Also, she was his wife, only wanted what he'd days he wanted to give her.(There were letters etc. in court docs) Which was a small fraction of a multi-billion dollar trust, less then 8%. If one reads the transcripts from the many court cases, Marshall's son that was trying to stop her from getting anything died only a few months after her. By that time his legal fees weren't that far off from what she was trying to get. His brother was suing with Anna Nicole, when you read why it says a lot. Pierce was just being greedy instead of following his dad's wishes. The result has been the family's now spent over a billion on legal fees, fighting over money none of them worked to make. You can read the transcripts & see all this. In my opinion my father or grandfather's happiness & wishes would've been honored for what equated to such a small portion of the estate. You still don't agree, cool. You don't have to.

Very sad. Back then people didnt realize the dangers of prescription drug use as much, and i honestly believe when things started getting bad for Anna-Nicole that she didn't realize it was as big of a problem as it was because it was a prescribed medication. This is how the opiod epidemic started and its sad that it claimed such a vibrant beautiful life. I'm sure by the end when she was really struggling and after ODing enough times and feeling the true pull of dependency and withdrawals she began to realize how much these drugs were affecting her but by then it was too late. There is so much more awareness nowadays and it STILL doesn't stop people from having issues, but back then this poor woman didnt have a chance. i only really knew of her back in the late 90s/early '00's during her reality star and like jenny-craig weigh-fluxuating days where she was acting really obnoxious on her reality show, etc and i was very off-put by her back then but hearing her full story it really is truly a tragedy.

I will never forget hearing on my car radio she had died, it broke my heart. This woman was destroyed by Hollywood. The VH1 series made a joke out of a small town girl who was suffering a chronic, terminal addiction. When I heard the only thing in her refrigerator when she died was methadone and slimfast- it really was the saddest thing I have ever heard. I will never forget this beautiful woman, who just wanted to give her son a good life- and was taken in by very bad people who threw her away when she had problems.

I'm sorry but she wasn't a dumb child, she did have a choice in all of this. At first, she had none when she took stripping job - but then she actively pursued modelling/acting/fame. She wasn't forced to enhance breasts (which later led to chronic back pain) either. I'm not judging her or arguing the effect of hollywood machine, yet she had agency too.

Really irrelevant, however, I get really strong ADD vibes from Anna. (Adhd-er here) dropping out of school, getting pregnant very young, bouncing job, shy, quirky, silly (dumb blonde), drug addiction, weight issues, migraines. All signs of adult female ADD. Her personality screams it. She struggled with trauma, and trauma is hard on someone with this. I can spot her right on. True empath. Stunning, smart, and yet heartbroken. I would have done the same.

This lifestyle hollows out people as they try to become a role that really represents only a fraction of the human experience and potential i.e, “the objectified female under patriarchal gaze and male control”. It just destroys people! She was so much more, and it all started trying to support her son. At least she had natural beauty and luck on her side. So many women end up in horrible predicaments with nothing to show but scars, and many parish along the way. It’s hard to not view these circumstances and social constructs as the “dark ages” for women, and perhaps men too, only that is a less explored topic.
