This video seriously blew my mind- it felt very immersive- the lighting is perfect, the scenery is gorgeous, and the sounds are fantastic! What a treat.
I love watching these videos. This is industrial 2 rail O Scale at it's finest. That littered dock scene rocks. Add on the railroad sounds, and it's complete, I really enjoyed hearing the car counts! Your killing it first rate with this layout. So many little things are the joys of viewing your work.
The detail is so fabulous. I love the weathered freight cars and even the junk around the tracks. Street running is always fascinating, too. Real train sounds dubbed in. Simply amazing. I'm speechless.
The only way I could tell that this scene was NOT real was the lack of bugs flying around under the street lights! Just a beautiful job! I'm guessing between 1965 and 1972 era? The EL boxcar still had fresh paint while the other cars were more heavily weathered. That wood paneled station wagon (behind the '59 Chevy) looks to be early 70's. Fabulous attention to period detail. 3 AM on the factory clock - Perfect. Dark shadows of the rail cars passing slowly over the girder bridge bathed in dim streetlight- Perfect. Brakeman riding the shove move into the narrow dock area- Perfect. Coordination of sound with the video- Perfect. Radio chatter- Perfect. Slight glare from the wet streets- Perfect. I could almost hear "Harlem Nocturne" or "Eggs and Sausage" by Tom Waits playing quietly in the background! Thank you for all the time and effort to create this!
This street running switching scene along with the sounds brings back memories of rare catches with B&O and PRR/PC switchers working Pratt St. and Boston/Fleet Sts., respectively, in Baltimore City back in the 1970s. The sounds of the trains echoing off buildings and flanges squealing on tight radius curves are exactly what I experienced back then.
The special effects are great with the lights and the sound FANTASTIC amazingly its 0 scale. I can watch the vidio on SP auto parts train every day! Need more ( :.
How is this not REAL, I’m totally blown away, between the weathered freight switcher, cars, all around scenery, horn, rail sounds. It doesn’t get any better than this, it is better than outstanding. One question, is this layout visitable. Thank you.
Hi- thanks....it's Atlas track buried in plaster and painted with latex paint. I don't have a track plan available....some day I will figure out the software.
Industrialmodels-Movie Hub Thanks for the quick reply! You’ve really done a great job with the video and your layout is amazing. I’m just getting into the hobby as an adult and seeing layouts like you have here give me something to shoot for. Thanks again for sharing.
@@Industrialmodels2 I noticed it LOL Apart from that I love the realism your attention to detail, the litter along the loading bay weeds growing and nice lighting not too bright.
Wow, this is one of the most realistic layout videos I've ever seen
