Their point about lighting is soooo sooo sooo important, as a 3d artist i can tell you creating an asset in 3d is not a huge task today.... you can make it look as pretty as you can, but when it gets into a scene its all about the lighting.... thats what many films fail to do they just put in a green screen and try to light it later... instead, a simple light setup for the whole scene as reference would do wonders later when adding in the CG elements! They know what they are doing! wishing all the success!!
I don't know why people are so jealous for Vidya in comments that's how a intellectual man is ..has so much to say ....and he is the essence of the movie so he can talk more about the making process than any other person
that's why this people can only comment and he is the maker of the film.
Similar thing happened with the making of tumbbad, they stood with their vision...money constraints, waiting for the rain everyday for particular shots etc etc i hope gaami doesn't end up like tumbbad in the theatres
Vidhyadhar has a problem which I observed here and in permit room interviews. He doesn't let others speak and he interrupts when other guy is speaking his mind especially when a question is pitched to both. Resolve it bro. Hope Gaami will be great! Waiting to watch.

After watching the interview I felt that the interview should have started asking about the film first then the struggle and the journey of the director and the crew. Because I feel that this film needs more exposure and promotion for it to succeed more than what they have imagined. 20 mins into the interview and there is no discussion about the film and the setup yet. Should have started the interview that way. Anyways, All the best to team. This film looks promising and inspiring to many upcoming film makers.

All the very best to the movie unit. there is amazing traction and anticipation among non-telugu people about the release of this movie. Director and Producer must plan the release in other languages too, at the least with English subtitles all over the world.
Ram Venkat has repeated the same questions...I think he should have discussed the more on topics which he asked at the last 20 mins of film..

loved the interview, was always waiting for something out of the guys who made Varaa.
Also, Prasads isn't 1.43:1 anymore, the new PCX screen is 1.90:1. Anyways, I'm happy to see telugu filmmakers experiment with technicality and it's long overdue someone tried different with aspect ratios for storytelling purposes.
As we cannot afford the very high cost of IMAX 70mm 15perf film , there's an option to film it in 1.43:1 like for DUNE 2 but digitally and new age filmmakers bring back the silver screens with golden aspect ratio back, provided that we create our own propriety Large screen projection system and sound design, because, depending on bigger players for cost conscience market requires that.
Edit 1: I wish filmmakers release the movie in varying aspect ratio for digital ott.

Ram srikar has never conducted an interview where he didn't stutter, struggle to form sentences or freestyle through the questions. Just isn't cut out for the job.
How does that matter ? At the end of the day he is getting the answers that he needs. He is just trying to be as clear about his questions, which are actually brilliant questions.
I don't see a clear cut question getting a fun answer.
I find eloquent and professional interviews to be the least creative and fun. Ram here sounds to me like myself, whether he has the ability to form the perfect sentence to express himself doesn't really matter in a cinema interview, if the point is expressed and the convo gets going. He is probably thinking faster than he can keep up in words, and hence the 'stutter' as you call it. Happens to most of us, it's a matter of experience 👍
Yeah but when you want your film to get exposed which is the only reason for promoting a film, I feel it’s more important to talk about the film first and the journey of the direction next, because half of the other industries doesn’t even know that this film is coming and they have just 3 days for the release. That’s what I personally felt. Hope the makers talk about the film first as much as they can and promote it. When it eventually becomes a blockbuster then they can maybe talk about the other part of this project
