The nice thing for Texas is that Arch just turned 19, meaning there isn't any particular rush to get him to the NFL. He could start in '25 and if he doesn't look like a number 1 pick then they still get him starting in '26 and he still goes to the NFL at just 22 years old in '27. It's really a great situation for everyone, including Arch.
The Mannings are smart enough to know the long game for Arch and honest about where he is skill-wise now. Just be a good teammate and be ready for your moment. Everything else is noise.
The long game of him riding the pine? C'mon
@@tengille not really. Most star QBs don't sit for 2 years.
@kendallandrews8691 well the Manning about to show the world that patience is still a virtue in cfb. Texas got a great QB room.
@@kendallandrews8691well there is literally just a few days until the transfer portal closes. I would say unless he decides to jump in (which looks incredibly unlikely) then yes, the answer to your question is that he is content to stay around, develop and get ready to start for Texas the season after next. He also might be needed this year if Ewers gets hurt.
@@kendallandrews8691 Most star QBs aren't advised by 3 of the greatest QBs of all time, or from a wealthy family.
The timetable is the same as it's always been. He is not starting barring injury till next year. Plain and simple
Rich's obsession with starting drama with Arch is so weird. He's had this SAME EXACT conversation with Bruce Feldman 3+ times. It's bizarre.
Hundred percent agree
He got you to watch again didn't he?
Drama gets clicks
@@hyruleansans473 Not on Roku, I'll tell you that much. 😂 He can have my adblocked youtube view if he wants. He's still dumb for having 4 of the same video.
Weird
What do you do in the fall when Arch shows up 6'5 220 looking like no manning before him?
😂 bonehead. Peyton and Eli are both like 6'5 230 😂 and Arch's dad played wide receiver, signed with Ole Miss and retired for medical issues
They are all athletes, but nice try
All the mannings look like the other mannings. The only difference is Peyton cannot run faster than LT. Dan.
He’s still not starting this year
@@LoopHoleLeeRoyPeyton actually had some mobility to him when he was young.
Keep thinking Bruce is Louis Litt from Suits
I hear it.
The great thing is that if Arch is feeling frustrated he can just go to his family for advice who has been there and done it. Patience is the game
Arch isn't in any rush to start.. He lives in one of the best cities in the United States, Austin Tx, Family is already super rich.. Goes to UT and his last name speaks for itself.. He's really not worried about anything or anyone.. I really feel like he feels if he doesn't play another down of football he's content
They trying to make this a thing when it’s not . He’s the backup Qb why is it news that he’s not the starter
His last name
💯💯💯💯🎯
Nothing has changed in this interview
WIth NIL there is no reason to rush. He can take his time and develop. The long term goal is to be a successful NFL QB. Rushing him into the role may hinder that more than help. In three years (1 more year as a back up and 2 starting), he'll most likely be the #1 pick and be in a position to be storming out of the gate.
Don’t rush him bro.. right now he’s learning all he can under Ewers.. Ewers will be a good QB.. Manning will be great when his time comes.. he’s learning the game, the X’s and O’s .. when it’s time for him to get on the field he will be a heisman winner
Quinn is the man Arch is going to be a stud learning so much watching Quinn put in the work. Come next year Texas could be looking at a 3peat come Archs senior season.
At 6:00 Bruce predicts exactly what happened
Ewers is going to the NFL next year, the manning fam knows Arch doesn't need to put too many miles on the tires before the NFL calls, 2 starting seasons in CFB is enough resume to get 1st rd interest if he plays well enough
The Manning family is playing the long game for Arch's NFL value. The original plan was for Arch to learn behind Ewers and start when Ewers left. That was ALWAYS the original plan. Sarkisian is an expert at patiently bringing QBs along...look at Mac Jones at Alabama. Speculation there's some sort of QB controversy at Texas is media tripe with NO BASIS is reality.
The Mannings are positioning Arch to play for an NFL team that will be in the midst of a long run of talent.
Ewers was the number one ranked high school quarterback and the number one ranked high school recruit in the nation in his class and he is just an afterthought to Manning!
Yes.
Rich keeps on trying to start narratives that aren't there and it's just sad.
The draft is over so there's really nothing to talk about until OTAs, just filling up air time
Try filling 3 hours a day on air!
It’s like he’s mad he didn’t go to Michigan
Ewers is making more in NIL money than he would have made in this year’s rookie draft. Arch is making enough NIL money to stay and develop at UT. No one, I mean NO ONE can out bid the Horns when it comes to the NIL game😂.
Arch isn’t accepting nil money until he’s the starter
Malik was the best qb on the roster at one point
Arch should go to a place that will let him play.
Just say you don't keep up with Texas football. Arch wanted to sit and learn from Sark and Quinn.
Arch is good, but I think Texas’ DBs made him look better than what he is in the spring game.
Their DBs were their Achilles last year, and it looks like they will be this year if they don't fix what they did in the spring game.
How many visiting QBs walked out of Tuscaloosa with a win during the Saban era? It would be crazy to bench Ewers.
Didn't Malik Murphy do great as the Texas QB when Ewers went down? Isn't that why Texas fans wanted him to stay?
Texas is really down playing this, they have a real QB controversy.... Arch looked way better than Ewers in the spring game. Don't know why Arch went to Texas in the first place....
He wanted to learn from Sark and Quinn. Not to mention, he barely turned 19 last month.
@@RJCE420 Why do you need them when Peyton Manning is your uncle....WTF
@@cvlastra That's for you to figure out. Arch is a Longhorn🤘🏼 get over it already.
Injury or winning by 35 in the late 3rd quarter
He'll start next year or if Quinn gets hurt. End of story. Moving on.
Would’ve had a better chance at Colorado
Ewers will get hurt again like he has done every year and Manning will step up while Ewers sits for the rest of the year.
Grandpa giving bad advice why the hell would you want to go to Texas 😂💀 because they’ve done so much the last twenty years…
Ewers is the most narrative-protected QB in the last two seasons. He's inaccurate.
It's Chris Simms Major Applewhite all over again
The boosters are the x-factor here. If you recall, the boosters pushed very hard for Chris Simms to get the starting nod over Major Applewhite years ago -- because they felt the Simms name would be more marketable and more valuable for recruiting.
Boosters aren't telling Sark which QB to start 🙄
Who cares? The kid could not play a single game at Texas and will STILL get drafted thanks to his name.
Just throwing this out there but I think arch should go to A&M to start right away r go to a program that is needing a starting quarterback it’s just too much talent that is on the sideline. I think he is ready to play he did his time last year not starting learning and developing now it’s year two it’s time and if Texas isn’t going to start him r move on.
Ewers has to be kicking himself in hindsight. He would have been a Raider or Seahawk as a first rounder this year. If Bo Nix goes 12, Ewers goes in the first.
No he wouldn’t he got his draft grade that’s why he went back to school
@@deesee2051yeah but so many QBs got over hyped during this draft - he could r been selected in 2nd at least.
Did Bruce just roll out of bed? He does realize this is not just a podcast.
Arch Manning has not showed anything. He played high School at a PRIVATE SCHOOL. My Lands.
Clickbait
I'm from New Orleans where Arch prepped in a lower division of HS football. Folks, he's a guy. That's all he is. He may turn out to be a good QB, but based on his performance in playoff games he's just a guy. Hate to break it to you.
Rich is just trying to create drama for UT because he knows they're going to destroy michigan this year.
Wouldn’t it be weird if Arch Manning was the future franchise quarterback for the New York Giants or New England Patriots or even the San Francisco 49ers? 🤔
Please leave a comments under!
If Ewers get hurt it’ll be a cold day in hell before he gets his job back
If he was good, he will be playing right now. Stop the BS
Bottom line, Ewers is the starter and should be. He led Texas to the College Football Playoff in 2023. Ewers is also a legitimate NFL prospect and a possible first rounder in 2025. Ewers will be the starter.
Arch is going to continue to get better and work hard and compete, and Sarkisian will probably play Manning some. But Ewers is the guy at Texas.
Somewhere in NJ, John Maras loins are getting moist at the opportunity of drafting this kid. I mean he did draft and kept a fake Manning around for 6+ years, in Daniel Jones ..now he gets a crack at a real one 🤣🤣
ARCH
He enters the trade portal and starts next year!
There is no QB controversy. If Quinn gets hurt . arch will come in .but nothing more!
Seven minutes of “nothing new here”.
If i was arch i would have left
Arch will start in 2025 and 2026 get to that 25 start mark. Then become a first round pick in the 2027 draft. Quinn is the guy this year but Quinn has been injured in both years starting so Arch could start because of a injury.
Thought Arch would transfer to LSU or elsewhere
Arch starts by the time UT begins SEC conference play or he's in the portal for '25.
It’s his show next year. Arch isn’t going anywhere, that is unless someone else shows up and is named #1
Trust the process….
Arch needs to strat because ewers isnt the guy to get them the natty
There’s never been a quarterback rated this high that went to a big time program and sat on the bench two years straight. Look at Oklahoma, Dylan Gabriel was in the running for the Heisman and they told him Jackson Arnold will be starting next year so he transferred to Oregon. Clearly, Manning is not nearly as good as everybody thinks or thought, or he would be the starting quarterback this year and Quinn would’ve transferred.
Arch will fold the moment the pressure gets to him. He can be rattled easily, like when he played in HS against competent defense. He will throw multiple interceptions. I still predict he will be one of the biggest busts in college. I like Trey Owens on that quarterback roster. Ewer is decent but fragile. Hook'Em ~v~
Rich, why are you always trying to start trouble with the Texas QBs? This is the 2nd or 3rd time you have asked this question. Last year was red-shirt year, so he still has 4 years left. By the time Ewers is gone, Arch will still have 3 years left. You know the Manning family, so go ask them. It seems like you are trying to get Arch to leave Texas. Maybe talk about how it takes certain teams to cheat to win NATIONAL `championship.
You might see Manning against the Wolverines
Ewers sucks and not good enough to take them all the way. Manning should have transferred to a big program and start this season
Caleb Williams will be the next "Big Bust."
Arch will probably graduate at Texas, so he may have 2 good years starting at Texas.
All this national talk about our qbs is so dumb ewers right now is the damn betting favorite to win the heisman
If I’m him I would of been left he can start now you need the college film to make it to the nfl and at least 2 years of it 💯
No you don’t lots of qbs play one yr and go in the 1st round he’s going to the NFL off name alone
You don’t watch football you can play one year and go to the draft it happens all the time
@@deesee2051 yeah be backup off one year and it better be a great year not no average year goofy 🤣🤣
💯💯💯💯🎯
He really suppose to be a true freshmen but I think he makes a impact this year
Arch will play a series in the 1st half of every non-conference gm.
He will be ready.
HOOK'EM ALL
"Part of the intrigue..." Rich, why the hell do you keep trying to start a story when there is none? There is no intrigue. How many times have you tried to stir this up? He's not transferring anywhere. He's a freshman this year geez.
He will start this year
Eisen wants Arch to transfer so badly 😂
Quinn ewers will have an nfl career longer than arch
Ima be honest they just wasting his time in my opinion ewers isn't even half as good as Arch and Evers ceiling is probably the XFL I just don't understand what they are doing. Seems like weird politics involved
🤘🏻
I wouid say September of 25 would be the timetable.
😂😂😂 He will start next year
Time table? Best part about Arch he’s not like these other snotty 5 star QBs who demand to start immediately, for what? Only to transfer out to another school like most have done. What I love about Arch is that he’s okay with sitting, learning, developing into an NFL player. He’s okay with sitting, and it’s annoying to see the world not okay with that. It’s not you or your life you’re not a guru QB coach either so just let the kid grow even more the way he wants to.
Rich is reaching for drama 😂😂😂 Knock it off it's embarrassing 😂😂😂
