I grew xcell cauli's for first time last year. They were really good and all had nice small heads that were very tasty. Oh, and 3 were in containers as I had few leftover and they were perfect too. So think your onto a winner. Good luck ivan

Ivan, I think your caravan container channel is really fascinating, dare I say that I am enjoying it even more than when you had your big garden. All my caravan washing up bowls have stuff growing in them, three types of lettuce , spring onions and small carrots. I'm going to try the cauliflowers next. You look very happy there.

I don’t know if you like runner beans but I’m growing a dwarf container variety this year called Hestia, just a thought if you are after more suitable veggies for your containers.

Ah, I didn’t think I’d ever seen you grow them.I have to admit I’m actually not keen on them myself, they were always really stringy when I had them as a kid and I have never grown them because of this. This one is supposed to be a stringless variety so I thought I’d give it a go for a change and see if I like them.
I had an awful time with this and cabbage white butterflies in containers last year. I bet you do better, good luck! Also lovely salad you've already got food enough to make a good salad for both of you from the garden already!
They can be a pain but so far i have not seen any here although that does not mean they are on the way

@@ivans-gardening-allotment-uk I couldn't get the nets to stay properly around each pot, then I tried putting all the pots next to each other and getting the nets over all of them. Basically, it didn't work well. But I am hoping to build raise beds for next year

I never have any luck with cauliflower so I’m going to sow some now and if necessary I am lucky enough to have two greenhouses so if I pot them on into containers I can move them indoors to finish off . I’m so inspired by you this year I’ve got four mashed potato squash all in about 10” pots and they’ve all got multiple fruits on already , I water with liquid seaweed once a week to keep them fed but if it works it will be fantastic. Keep going Ivan I’m waiting for next video all the time ❤️

I can get those ex cut flower containers for nothing. we just chuck them in the recycling at work, apart from a raised bed, my garden veg is grown in those pots. if you are ever coming near Leicester, drop me a msg and I'll get you a load.

Hi Ivan, I was wondering if I could grow Brussels sprouts in the 10 inch pots?
I think they would struggle but you can get some called earl half tall maybe try one of those Thank you Margaret

Yeah mine boltered Ivan, they looked so good & was chuffed when I saw the white heads coming, but it hasn't put me off I've got some more growing ready to plant out later on, so I'll see how this lot go. Thanks again for all the updates always interesting....

Thank you for the tips for the Califlower planting. I too have issues with this veg. Would you think just bone meal will be fine? I don't have the blood and fish combo here. We went from snow to 30 + C here in northern Ontario, Canada.... Love container gardening on my deck
