For the last 2 years I pray to Allah (swt) as I did not have the luck to be born into an Islamic family. My gratitude & worship that I send to Allah Allmighty evvery day has made me a TRUE believer; thank you Mufti Menk for guiding us the right way. My prayers (in Arabic) I learned from YOU & I recite them every day numerous times by heart. Allah (swt) stands above ALL & EVERYTHING to me
I almost died and the doctors didn't tell me until I was leaving the hospital. So now I recite often. Every time I close my eyes and after each prayer. When cooking, eating meals. Everytime I feel scared, annoyed, anything really. This my favorite verse in the Quran. I read it and Allah rushes to my aid. However if something is meant to happen and is a test; you will forget it. Allah is all knowing and forgiving. What is decreed by Allah will come to pass. And Allah is just to all; not just to believers. When Prophet (SAW) thought to pray for his ummah never to fall off seratul mustaqeem; Allah sent down Hazart Jibraeel to prevent that dua from being asked. The whole world would become Muslim and the test of Allah would be invalidated and Shaitan and his followers would have claimed foul.
Aytul Kursi - Allahu laaa ilaaha illaa huwal haiyul qai-yoom; laa taakhuzuhoo sinatunw wa laa nawm; lahoo maa fissamaawaati wa maa fil ard; man zallazee yashfa'u indahooo illaa be iznih; ya'lamu maa baina aideehim wa maa khalfahum; wa laa yuheetoona beshai 'immin 'ilmihee illa be maa shaaaa; wasi'a kursiyyuhus samaa waati wal arda wa la ya'ooduho hifzuhumaa; wa huwal aliyyul 'azeem

I am a new revert.. I have been reading the English translation of ayatul kursi.. 3 times day and night and the results are mind boggling. There something powerful about this verse.. beyond human comprehension. Do I necessarily have to learn to read it Arabic?

I don't know what this life is for, I'm losing the will to fight, and I'm tired of the misfortune of my life Oh, my lord do you have a plan for me since childhood I have been overwhelmed by hardship and pain until now even a little bit of grace from you my lord you have forgotten to give me since childhood I am hungry for your grace poor in money growing up no one guided my parents no one brother, I grew up poor until now, it's poor, I didn't finish my school because the poverty that I have, no money, what is my life for, do you still have a plan for me.
