    Hmmmm🤔🤔🤔🤔, the real question is who Won in the beginning; Anki Cozmo or the S6 MaxV 😋. It look like the S6 MaxV had the size advantage, but Cozmo had thee atitude and tried to flip the S6 MaxV over!!! I think I learned everything I could in the 7:12 timeframe about the S6 MaxV. You literally showed every aspect and demonstrated the capabilities, Pro and Cons of the robot and its specifications. Last thing I want to say, 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 = 1,000 Subscribers, what an accomplishment 🤣🤣🤣

    very nice editing love all the details and overlay you do to show floor spot where it will vacuum. I want a T8 since it does better for mopping but can't get it in Canada *yet*. The S6 MaxV does ship to Canada... plus there is 50$ rebate on the S6 on amazon.

      Thank you! Yeah, it's a hard decision. I would recommend choosing the S6 MaxV, but I didn't test the Ozmo T8 so maybe I'm biased:) The T8 vibrating mopping pad looks promising though.

  • @MrLaidback

    One question, if you have it docked under a bed for example, how do you attach the mopping pad on a mopping day? Can you ask him to get out of the dock (bed) and then stop it, attach the mop, and send it to mopping? Thanks, great video

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  4 роки тому +2

      There is a water-proof mat included in the box for such purpose. You can leave the pad on and there will be no damage to your floors. You can start it so it will go out of the dock and stop it, attach the mop and it will do the mopping next too. But leaving the pad on looks convenient to me :)

    • @MrLaidback
      @MrLaidback 4 роки тому +1

      Smart Robot Reviews thanks so much :)
      So, if i leave the mop attachment on normal vacuum days, it can vacuum normally with it on? (So it would be already attached and filled with water to use on moppping days) Thanks

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  4 роки тому +2

      Mopping attachments reduce climbing ability. Besides, carpets may damage the mopping pad as it is made of microfiber. If you leave it one, the robot might have troubles with climbing onto some thicker carpets and crossing thresholds.

    Hi there, very good review. I am new to all these stuff and I have heard mopping is not a good things for cleaning robots...so I would not possibly use it...does it automatically mops when detects stains or can it be run just in vacuum cleaner mode?...how do it work?, is the mopping good enough in your case?

    A couple spelling corrections which may help in future videos:
    1:20 "Medium pile carpet" instead of "middle pile carpet"
    5:41 "What's in the box" instead of "What in the box"
    Again, great content. Looking forward to the S6MaxV vs other robots comparison!

      Glad it was helpful! I would suggest choosing Roborock. It has a very active community on Facebook and Reddit, the company listen to its customers and continuously working on fixing bugs and adding new features. Such, the older S5 model recently received room recognition feature and the newest S6 and S5 Max start receiving a new firmware with the multi-floor feature. Worth to mention, I've never tested Ecovacs products, so my opinion may be biased:)

    I using same Roborock S6 MaxV, used the highest water for mopping but the water output is hardly noticeable and I can't see any wet floor as per reviewed videos here. What should I check for my robot please ?

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  4 роки тому

      Maybe it still supplies water, but because of your floor type or color, it's barely visible? Reviewers usually try to find the best camera angle when the watermarks are visible on the camera. Sometimes I can barely notice the watermarks on the floor, but if I touch the floor after robot it's still wet (but not too much). So maybe your robot is okay. By the way, do you prewet the mopping cloth before mopping? It is recommended by Roborock to always making the cloth wet before starting mopping.

    If you had to choose between the Roborock S6 MaxV and the Roomba s9+, which would you choose. I have a large house with 3 floors, 2 dogs.. so pet hair... and one of the dogs sometimes has accidents. There are pros for each but not sure which is the best for my scenario. Any suggestions..

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  4 роки тому

      Hi there. The Roomba S9+ is good for homes with pets especially those that shed lots as you don't have to deal with pet hair all the time. On the other hand, it has a shape that gets stuck easily especially in tight spaces. The Roborock has a better navigation and recognizes objects. It recently received an update and can even take shots of the objects. Another thing about the Roborock, it cleans faster than most robots on the market including the Roomba. And it also avoids pet waste. I the future this will be improved and be more accurate. It's definitely up to you which one to get. Do you want silicone rollers and self-emptying bin or efficient navigation and a robot that might not get over dog's accidents. Also, keep in mind that the Roborock lasts longer which is necessarily if you live in a big house.

  • @arekx
    @arekx 4 роки тому +1

    No-mop zone for carpets? Is it really needed? If it recognizes objects then I would assume that it should also recognize carpet and avoid moping it.

    • @SmartRobotReviews

      Yes, it has no-mop zones feature. Unfortunately, It can't recognize carpets automatically, you should set no-mop zones manually in the app.

    How does S6 MaxV deal with closed doors? If you have mapped your entire house, and later closes some doors when you are only cleaning certain areas, does it update and ruing the map like the Ecovacs 950? Do you have to remap entire house often, or is it suffient to do it once and then you keep the map forever?

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  4 роки тому

      If you closed a door once, it will check next time if the door is closed and update the map (but not ruin the whole map, only the door). Only the first cleaning cycle should be with all doors opened. I'm using it for a few months and my map is pretty stable, no needs to remap.

    Have had it for 2 months. Quite a nice robot. App is ok but not anything high IT. You can only store 4 rooms. Not loud. Doesn't vacuum carpets very well. Also doesn't mop the floor very properly, leaves marks, so I put it cleaning 2-3 times the same area. Wash cloths is not the best thus the streaks and you need to wash it after every cleaning. Doesn't go under sofas with long hanging covers.

    How does it compare against mi mop p?

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  4 роки тому +1

      The Roborock S6 MaxV is much better but it costs twice as much as the Xiaomi. Unlike the S6 MaxV, The Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Mop P doesn't have a camera in front of the robot so it can't "see" and avoid small objects.

    • @Mahesha999
      @Mahesha999 4 роки тому +1

      @@SmartRobotReviews "much better". Can you please tell exactly in what aspects. I understand the front camera, but what else? Is suction capacity higher? Also is multi floor available in both? What else?

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  4 роки тому +2

      On the paper, both look very similar in terms of features (except the front camera). But the devil is in the details. Both models support multi-floor. The Roborock S6 MaxV has stronger suction (2500Pa vs 2150Pa). The Roborock has more accurate and efficient navigation (finishes the job faster, rarely gets stuck, etc), better build quality, larger battery (5200mAh vs 3200mAh), better cleaning performance on carpets, more stable and user-friendly app, the water tank doesn't leak. The Roborock just feels like a finished product with good customer support, active community on Reddit and Facebook, and frequent firmware updates. But you get what you pay for, considering that the Xiaomi is much cheaper, so maybe it's a good choice if you want to save money.

    wonder you've tested almost all brands of the robot vacuums but Ecovacs, care to explain why? Are you hating certain brands or something, if so please share with us, your viewers. I'm very curious to see the comparisons if you can make the videos out from them, it would be more instresting.
    Can you tell me what's the toy you were using in this video? I think my son would love it 😘

      Hi Jonny, thank you for your kind words, really appreciate it :) lol no hate on certain brands. Most robots I have reviewed were sent for free so that's why no ECOVACS was ever reviewed.
      The latest DEEBOT T8 seems like a good product and is on par with the Roborock S6 MaxV. In addition, it has a self-emptying bin which is essential for some people as it's really convenient to use.
      On a video is my Anki Cozmo but unfortunately the company stopped producing them recently tho you can still find it for sale on Amazon :)

    So far so good with this vacuum. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx8ISPQRRAfpAaX4msGjyodObTBnlj4T5g I was a little concerned to find it seems to be all plastic, but the reviews were good, so I'm hoping for the best. Very easy to assemble Recommened, and only attachments I've used so far work well, and are easy to use. Doing a good job on the new carpet in my bedrooms and stairs. Works well on the hardwood on my main floor too. Reasonable weight and cord length. I already knew from an earlier review that it wouldn't fit under furniture, but I can use my Eufy for that, so no problem - the high traffic areas that need a stronger suction was really what I bought this for. If it continues as it's started, it will be a good buy and well worth the money. I have had two Shark Rocket stick vacs in the past that are super easy to use, but the motors just don't last well, even with scrupulous cleaning of the filters. I'm hoping for better with this Bissell.
