How modern Blantyre looks now, we hardly recognised it. Streets are wider and many more are one-way. Many of the places we knew have disappeared but are replaced by newer and better. Makes me want to return to explore all over again. We lived not far from Clock Tower in a suburb called Mandala, wonder if the house is still there?

Stanbic Bank or Standard Bank is a South African bank which uses different trading names in different locations across Africa. It actually very common thing to do by South African Bank. Absa which was owned by Barclays Bank does the same thing. They use different trading names in different locations in Africa for their banks.

Actually, it trades as Stanbic in countries that have Standard Chartered Bank and Standard Bank where Stanchart is none existent.
