What a beautiful post so many people just don't understand animals. I had 2 cats. They couldn't get anywhere out of the cat box and we had 5 or 6 different cat boxes. I kept going lower and lower and lower till I got something that was 3 inches off to floor they finally fit made a fit for the cat so they enjoyed being able to get In-N-Out of the cat box and that stopped the ping everywhere, but I found out that 1 was diabetic and when I had kidney. Problems so they had to have a change of diet and they had to have. Medication, but one went on to live for 18 years and when went on to live for 26 and a 1/2 years. They gave me more love and they're their time than I could ever get back to them. Sometimes feet were just don't understand it's just like people people get sick. You need medicine. You need love. You need hands-on low. I feel bad for the people who felt that they had to give the cat up because of cat black issues. But I'm so glad that the lady dubbed it the cat. And it's an ongoing pleasure for her to love the cat and the cat loves her.God bless you, God bless you, God bless you, God bless you, God bless you, God bless you, God bless you.God bless everybody, you help this cat.You're a wonderful angel.It's a beautiful post

How anyone can abandon a loyal pet after 20 years will always be beyond me. Every pet we ever had was with us through old age, bad health, until they passed. No pet should ever be abandoned for the convenience of its “owners.”
Not a fan of people that won't do their part in pet ownership.
Lady got a second shot at a loving home.

SMH, don’t people understand that litter box issues probably means sickness. You don’t just abandon a family member. You take the family member to the doctor/vet. Poor kitty.
Have 3 cats. Charles is 6 now. Three years ago he “adopted “ me where I walk. Stray, no chip, & not neutered. Weighs 23 lbs now. Huge sweet boy. My shadow. I help local shelter. Brought home 17 year old last summer. Sweet old man. Dumped by family. Eats, sleeps, drinks, walks and plays a bit. Delightful. Brought home 15 year old girl 2 months ago. Again, dumped by family. All get along. Sweet bunch.

_SHAME_ on Lady's previous family for abandoning her in her greatest time of need - ill AND older. Horrible.
I thank Goodness every day for people like Rebecca - who takes the time to really understand their cats.
We've _fos-piced_ several very senior cats who were tossed away. They came here and were spoiled the rest of their lives.
It's hard to do this, but you're making a sad and confused cat, or dog's, final days filled with love. Like it should be.
One senior cat abandoned when his people moved away - Grizz - is deaf. And has three teeth in his entire mouth
He came here extremely ill. Our Vet said to take him home and spoil him, but do not get attached - he doesn't have long
That was Dec '22 - a year and one half ago. Grizz is still with us! So, senior cats should never be just thrown away.
