I accidentally did the same but to a large group of wild ones. When I went out to the pond, I noticed that the tadpoles and eggs didn't have an ideal hiding space as the plants had not fully recovered from winter. So I made the space and moved them there so that the fish could not get to them.
I kept watching over them as I was curious to watch the transformation. I made sure they were well fed because I'd made it more challenging to get to more significant amounts of food (it was before we set up the tadpole pond the year later).
Now, when I try to maintain the pond, I have all the grown frogs demanding attention from me. I'd try to shoo them away, but they were not afraid, so I'd have to pick them up and move them out instead. They go back into the pond to swim back up my arm to rest on my hand. In the end, I had twenty frogs sitting on my lap for the whole day while they slowed the maintenance down significantly.
Exactly what humans should be: Like parents to all animals. Except maybe some insects and nasty animals.

I think those were "feed me" nibbles lol. Reptiles can do the same when ball/target trained to recognize feeding time, where they open-mouth attack the target/ball but don't actually try and eat it, it's interesting.

Better watch out for organic salads from health store. One guy found one in his newly bought salad. He took it to mean the salads really were healthy. Then he fixed up a temporary container, posted it to the internet & Petco gave him an entire habitat for his new tiny friend.

@@TuberoseKisser This is always overlooked and its unfortunate. I always see sick frogs online or people treating their frogs like eye candy. I think people kind of put frogs and fish in the same area when they really aren't at all. Making sure your frogs terrarium has a constant humidity level and temperate is extremely important, and constantly checking their houses for things that might not be positive for them is something that seems to be missed all the time, and I could go on and on. I've had my whites tree frog for about a year now and love him to pieces, and plan on getting a moss frog soon. Frogs definitely fall into the category of "Not as easy as it look," haha. I think that is primarily because of how delicate they are.
@@Froag. delicate, but indeed rewarding. personally thats why i have preference for African Dwarf Frogs. i'm a little bit more versed in how to care for fish, so a fully aquatic frog like them suits me much better. my roommate absolutely loves Whites and Pacman Frogs though

They can't really love you, but they can feel safe and comfortable around you, which is about the best you're gonna get from them.
@@kevinwood8653 there are different types of love between humans. It’s not too different from how we feel about our little buddies, we care about them and don’t want them to get hurt but would still give up the animal to save someone’s life. I think animals do “love” but just in a different way.

Well no, they actually can't recognize you as an individual, but they can probably learn to trust the hand and they must have a very vague imagination of a human being. I also doubt they are able to feel many emotions, which gives us more responsibility towards them.

@@xxxblackvenomxxx Praying Mantis can also recognize people, but not by their face. I had one I fed from about 1cm wingless nymph to over 12cm fully winged adult. It would stare at me every morning I saw it, only recognizing me when dancing from side to side. I knew it recognized me as soon as it dances/sways like its in the wind, from side to side too. It would also dance/sway extremely fast when it saw I had food (bugs, usually small jumping spiders) for it and it seemed to get excited. 😄

@@aureus4735 any frog would be suitable really. Just go outside and get a tadpole from a ditch, then raise it. I’ve done that before and I ended up with 3 frogs that were super chill because they grew up with me feeding them so they didn’t really know anything else

Hilarious too,I have an aquatic frog,a male albino African clawed frog called Kermit (who is very lucky to be proven to be a male otherwise I'd have had to get a male and call them Kermit for the female,and spermit for the male 😂) who I hand feed bloodworms (yup it's extremely difficult,Kermit will not eat dried river shrimp which saves me money,oh no,he's a frog with expensive taste 😂 he will only eat either bloodworms or freshly dead Orange Jili and Orange Sakura neocaridina shrimp which I've had great success in breeding,but same as your B-U-T-FUL girl he's so worth it,but omg that cute AF face on your beautiful girl 🥰
