This is the only positive review I've seen on this, every other review says it crap. And then the company even tried to sue one guy for giving it a horrible review.
Combination of good MIDI and live strings sound is the best, This direction of instruments provides only one part. The live string sensing and midi translation is at top level available.
I think for the price point, it's worth the experiment. Even if it's not something I'll end up using regularly. I've pondered trying MIDI guitars for a while, and considering a lot of musicians will buy affordable experiments (recorders, ocarinas, melodicas, etc) there's a lot in favour for trying this guitar out. Once I'm done paying off my current purchase, I'm looking into this for sure!
It seems to behave as I suspected...it's a slightly reworked Yamaha EZ-AG...which is NOT a bad thing. I've had one for decades now and having access to these cinematic sounds via a guitar midi interface is exactly what a limited capability guitarist like myself needs. Has anyone looked at the price of second hand EZ-AGs lately?
That brass demo must be edited on the midi level. The guitar can't detect any kind of vibrato which makes all the brass demo awesome. Without it, straight out of this instruments it'll sound as dead as a can of tuna.
Depends on the instruments used, everything you hear on the video was one take, so all of those tracked very well! Some will be a little more finicky, especially when playing more than one note at a time. But it keeps up well!
I love the capabilites of this instrument ("guitar"), but I'm not certain I could play it because I'm so used to actually pushing down strings and actual frets. But I'm intrigued enough to be curious.
It’s mainly to use for MIDI, if you like synths, and other instruments that keyboards have now you can do all keyboard synths and other sounds on guitar! But if you just like playing guitar it’s not for that! It’s not a replacement to guitar playing! Keep on pickin Tim!
Hello! Great video. How well does the palm mute work with instruments that have a longer sustain like the strings? Or do you just lift the finger of the note to cut it
May I ask a question? At moment ua-cam.com/video/O-e9XmlXKAk/v-deo.html you play the horns with and without vibrato. That midi guitar has *no* touch sensitivity on the fretboard and can't detect vibrato at all. So everything is post edited, right? I think you should tell that your viewers.
No edits at all, it’s the midi program that does the work, settings have to be made on the plug in. The instrument isn’t for vibrato, bends- only legato

... and they probably paid this guy enough to leave a good review

It all depends what you want it for, for MIDI usage it’s not a bad option and it’s priced accordingly vs others. Most other guitars are $800+

Thank you!!
You are am awesome guitarist Jamie, one of my favorites.
Thank you Steve!!
Jamie it's cool, thank you. If I owned the AeroBand Guitar, my old Martin acoustic would get jealous.
Take care Jamie.
Thanks Slim! It’s not for everyone, if you like MIDI and crazy sounds it’s pretty fun! 😃
Happy to see another video from you. This is very cool! The brass demo was awesome, I'll take a whole album!

How does it track? Is there any latency?

I absolutely ADORE the Cello, glad that was included. I just love how the Cello can sound sad, haunting, and uplifting all at the same time.
I love cello as well!
Awesome review Jamie , thanks for sharing YAH bless brother !
Thanks Michael!! I hope all is well!
Many are on the fence about this guitar.
But technology can be awesome.
Thanks Jamie
Прекрасный инструмент, а Вы - очень хороший гитарист.

There’s a bar on the bridge that mutes everything by putting your palm on it!
I have another video on the guitar that explains all the technical stuff as well!
Great info video. I love the original aeroband guitar. Thanks for the work you're doing with these instruments. God bless, take care & stay safe. ;)
Thanks B!! I hope all is well! 🙏❤️

OK. I heard it and it's useless.
Absolutely so!!
Ummm says a lot about a UA-camr who plugs this piece of garbage.
This thing is a POS, and anyone with any integrity has already called it out. Enjoy that AeroBand payout, cause its all your integrity is worth.
